and i'm the same with my consoles except i have a wii and an original xbox instead
 
Well, I got a PS3 today.

Not something I was really planning on doing but I had a huge gift certificate for Circuit City and there was really nothing else to get. I ended spending like $100 out of my pocket.

I got the 80 GB model that comes with the game, and I did hook it up with HDMI, so it looks pretty amazing.

Circuit City also had a TON of games majorly discounted as well, so I'll probably go back tomorrow and pick one up along with a controller.

cool, if your into action games i highly recomend Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

since i'm finally able to connect my PS3 i'm downloading damn near every free thing on PSN right now

i'm so excited that Sony is going to finally be releasing prepaid PSN cards (think wii points) because without a credit card it kinda sucks to not be able to download some things
 
Due to the fact a lot of problems I had have been fixed , I want a Hd or Bluray dvd player soon , Ps3 Home looks of the charts ****ing awesome and the fact I can buy a 300gb laptop hard drive and stick it in the ps3.


I think oct-nov time when I go to get a new console instead of 360 like I had planned (i'll miss some exclusives but oh well) I'll pick up a ps3. Then the time I pick it up all at once I can get :

  • GTAIV
  • WWE
  • DBZ Burst Limit
  • Spider-man trilogy Bluray movie


I admit another reason is DBZ is going Bluray , If like the dbz dvds they make them multi-region I'll be all other this. Plus Fox is Bluray means hopefully DBZ live action bluray. (Ok i'm a weak dbz fanboy shh)



One question if I do end up getting ps3 instead of 360 , When home comes out will everyone on here with a ps3 meet up on it?

Yeah , Like I mentioned I do think we all need to meet up with each other on Home for a kick *** chat. Plus you can stream movies over it right? Imagine all of us watching the dark knight or something through it
 
At this point, if I had to choose between getting a PS3 and a 360, I would get the PS3. Largely due to the Blu-Ray thing (even though Microsoft has hinted at making a Blu-Ray drive for the 360), but also because I think it's retarded to only let XBox Live users download free roster updates for sports games.

I wish Ps3 had the add on for Marvel Ultimate alliance.

But another ps3 plus for me Street Fighter HD!.
 
well the only free things on PSN are Demo's and backgrounds/Themes

but i think Home will really turn things around

now if they'd only get pre-paid PSN cards out finally i'd be a happy camper
 
Still waiting on MGS4.

Plus, rumors of a white, 160GB PS3 with a Dualshock 3 and full BC to replace the 80GB model keep popping up, so I'm going to wait until I hear more about that.
 
After some diffcultly I was finally able to hook my PS3 up with my computer and import some files and watch some videos.


This is now my PS3 wallpaper...

You could just transfer photos like that using a flash drive or memory stick.
