sounds like they'll be using software emulation, akin to Apple's Rosetta (which allows for PPC based apps run on Intel Macs).
 
Very smart move on the software emulation. It would have been idiotic to continue to refuse to support older games.

the backwards compatibility thing doesn't matter to me because mine is already compatible (it's one of the earlier PS3's that had it), and plus I still have my old PS2...wel both my old PS2's
 
One more day until I get mine.

I talked to the local Gamestop manager, who I'm pretty cool with, and she said that, since they only got two, to get there early. But, she said if I was one of the first people to ask, she'd make sure I'd get it.

I remember playing that game over and over on the Amiga.
 
Lemmings. Pfft. All the advancement we've made in AI the last few years and what do we have to show for it? A game where the characters are so dumb you have to build stuff so they don't fall to their deaths.

Me too , Lemmings and Worms are the two games I've played on most the consoles and pcs. It's too damn addictive :lol:

Thank you! First thing I did after reading this was download upload. It seems pretty damn cool. Waiting till I get a new game most likely Buzz! next month to try out the trophies. But the music feature looks cool.

:( It won't work. Apparently it needs to be patched to play it.
 
Anyone here play "Pain" it's on the psn shop. I just bought the full game and a couple of charracters (ninja and a big boobed nurse) I have to say the game is fun as hell and when they realse more levels I'll buy them straight away.

Note : Online on this game dosen't work now after an update but that's cool it's still great fun. Worth the money if you buy it.
