PS3 Discussion

Re: PS3 Discussion. Come, join the laughs.

If a MGS game comes out for Wii that is anything like Twin Snakes, I'll pass. That sucked.

Not to get off topic or anything.

SAY WHAT!?

Twin Snakes was heavenly. I bought a Gamecube just for that game.

ohhhhhhhhh. never played the second. never played the second either actually. 8)

DO IT!

Yeah. . .bummer. I've pretty much resigned myself to picking up the damn thing, but I'm going to wait until the day MGS comes out before I do. I'm hoping for one final price drop before or right after the holidays.
Yeap. Once the 60 version is at $299, then I'll think about getting it.

I'm willing to pay $399, just like the 360, but I really don't want to pay more than that. Even for MGS4.

For me there aren't many games for the PS3 that I want to play. So it would be pointless to pay $399 for like two or three games at the moment. Also waiting to see what other RPGs will be out for the PS3 that are not out for the 360.

I totally understand.

I have a few games marked, like MGS4, FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, Tekken 6, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Which is already out), but the only one that's MUST HAVE is MGS. The rest are great and all, but couldn't sell me it. At least, not until it was Wii priced. MGS is worth 400 (For me, anyways), but no more than that.

I should be able to get mine in a couple of months, I will have my Best Buy card mostly paid off.

I'll be putting mine on my credit card too. There's no way I'd have the cash to pay for it outright.

Re: PS3 Discussion. Come, join the laughs.

I buy stuff on credit cards but ONLY when I have the cash to pay it off completely. I'm talking toys and gadgets; we have a card for emergency situations (car repairs, etc.). I would never charge something liek a PS3 without having the money to actually pay for it.

Credit cards are evil. A necessary evil, but evil nonetheless. You guys are playing with fire.

I think you misunderstood. I'm saying I wouldn't have the cash immediately when I needed it. But, I, too, always pay off my cards the same month. So, let's say MGS4 comes out in March. I'll buy it and the PS3. I likely won't have the cash for it. However, I'll almost certainly be able to pay off all, or most, of the bill the following month.

Gotcha. That's actually good since it helps build credit.

Re: PS3 Discussion. Come, join the laughs.

I can't save money like that right now.

And it's really the only credit card I have. It's only a 600 limit so I usally pay it off pretty fast. And my credit is very important to me with what I want to do with my life. So I take care of it.

Used bills only? Because the new ones. . .those little strips inside them? GPStrips.

Yep. And we're all watching you on closed circuit TV.

Nice shirt, by the way.
