Heroes seasons 1 & 2 series discussion [spoilers]

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

So has it been officially established that all of the "old generation" is supposed to be connected to the new generation? Because that's sure how it seems. If that's the case then it creates some interesting questions. The most interesting one I think, who's related to Linderman?

That was answered last season. Linderman's "relations" were DL, Nikki and Micah. Not really related, per se, but, then again, Charles Devaux's daughter wasn't super-powered, and Bob seems to have no relatives either, despite being connected to Mohinder.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

West is a thousand times better than Micah's kid cousin. I hope he has some stupid power and Sylar eats his brains.

That's your solution to everything!

Although yeah, West is starting to grow on me a bit. Like I said, if they'd started him out as being a lonely outcast instead of a smug iconoclast, he could've been terrific.

Ah. There's a lot to keep track of when it comes to Heroes.

Maybe his power is having his brains eaten.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

I LOVED the Parkman reveal but I really like Parkman anyway for whatever reason. Very cool reveal for that arc. I REALLY dislike West and I am relatively certain he is a bad guys. I don't think he is meant to be totally likeable. I had no problem with Micha's cousin. He seems pretty throwaway and just a means for mica to have an "Abuse of power" storyline. and fixing people?!? his power may be better then Linderman thought. It feels like there was going to be more to Sylar but they really needed to boost the not-Americans. I don't know. I am liking this season, but I don't understand why we had a first season to draw all these characters together for an epic battle then broke them all up to draw them together again at the end of the season. Seems strange.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Also, I thought the show worked so much better without Hiro's storyline. Probably my least favorite storyline of the whole series. It completely takes you out of the whole rest of the show. He needs to get back to the present, stat.

I believe it was to show extraordinary people doing ordinary things, the opposite of last season's theme of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Who know what the hell seasons 3-5's themes will be. . .

I liked Hiro's storyline, but I feel it reached its logical concluding point. He should have teleported back to the future and Kensei should have been waiting for him. I feel it's going to get old very quickly from this point on, but we'll see. Maybe we won't even be seeing Hiro and Kensei for a few episodes now.

Sylar is related to Linderman. It's his grandpa.

. . .what? :?

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Another excellent episode.

Sylar's back, and I'm unsure of his motives at this point, though I can guess he's still paving his road to hell with bad intentions. The picture of "the company" or "The Linderman Group" or whatever they're called was a cool reveal, though I haven't had much time to go over it with a fine-tooth comb. I'm interested to see some closer looks at Nathan and Peter's father. I saw horned rim glasses but I'm pretty sure it's not Noah. Could be Kensei, but I don't know if I'd like that. Parkman's dad as the Nightmare man is fine in my book, I like the Freddy Kruegerish nature of that character already.

There were some other folks in that photo that Nathan and Matt didn't even bother to identify, but we'll probably see them turn up in one way or another in this season or the next. Hopefully.

I still think West is working for the company to get back at Noah, using his adopted daughter to do it. That's sinister, and it would elevate West from being this guy that everyone seems to hate into a legit bad guy. That's probably been the intention all along, and it's already working if so many people (at least on this forum) hate him before he shows his evil streak. Even my fiancee said last night "I think that guy is evil".

There's a lot more to dig through, but this season is getting good already. I hope they keep it up.

Agreed, I hate characters like that

Agreed, they could of drawn it out more and that would have been fine, but they burnt the bridge on this storyline, its over move one. And as I said if they are continuing it for a love triangle I will be incredibly pissed off. I hate love triangle stories more than my love of hot asian chick... yeah, that much.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

The Best Episode so far...

I love how Matt and Mohinder are, for all intents and purposes, a couple. They have little fights and they're trying to raise their daughter.

It is all very silly.

I know there are twelve of them, and we know the identities of seven of them. Linderman, Papa and Mama Petrelli, Charles Devaux, Bob, Kaito Nakamura, and now Matt's dad. So, the question is. . .who are the other five and how do they fit into everything. That storyline (And the Mohinder/Bennet conspiracy) are the best parts of the show right now.

I'm also in agreement about liking that Mr. Parkman is the Nightmare Man. I think it's very ironic, and undoubtedly connected, that Matt is the one protecting Molly from him.

By the way, if anyone wants to analyze the twelve, here's the picture.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Did anyone else notice the little twist we have for the twins and Sylar? The car that criminal Derek stole. He said it was from California. Who had an identical car stolen from her in California?

Sylar is in Claire's car. Whats the betting he finds something that leads him right to her...?

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Did you also notice the cockroach crawling around Derek's body? Neato...

No, for real, though - good catch. That's real cool.

Damn I didn't even consider

I think that it may be cgi, but why spend money to add that?

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

I am actually caring less and less about the season1 heroes and finding myself more intrigued by the new ones.

The girl who can mimic anything just by looking at it (ala Echo). Maybe explore Micah some more. Blah blah blah.

I still love this show so much. But I can't help but get insanely jealous everytime I see that kid fly. IT SHOULD BE ME!!!!!!

And next week.....Kristen Bell!!!!!!!
