The Video Preview of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game on ign is pretty sweet, man, August can't come fast enough. Also, I saw the comic con trailer for the game and when the characters exit a level they each have their own mode of transportation: Scott teleports Megaman style, Steven Stills jumps into a warp pipe, Kim jumps on Kirby's warp star, and Ramona hops into her dimensional handbag :).

According to a rumor posted by GameInformer, sources have told the magazine Capcom is teaming up with Namco to produce two separate new fighting games, a Capcom vs. Namco game using the Street Fighter IV engine, and a Namco vs. Capcom fighter with the Tekken 6 engine.

The titles will look and play separately, according to the rumor. The Capcom developed game will be 2.5D and the Namco title having complete three-dimensional movement.

Is it odd I want to see Pacman vs Nemesis ?

It's kinda weird that both companies are developing separate games.

I can only imagine that Namco is using their tekken 6 engine for the game. I think Namco learned from SNK, who sat out quite a bit in the development of the CVS series. I wouldn't expect Namco to sit back and not capitalize on such an opportunity.

I bet the CEO's are betting which one sells better.
