I usually save Batman stuff until I'm really going through a "Batman phase" (about twice a year), so I've been making my way through as much of the best stuff as I can during those times. It'll be a priority next time.

I am so glad they are re-releasing it in this deluxe hardcovers.

I'm assuming they will collect the entire series, unlike the trades that skipped half of the issues.

I just picked up the first volume over the weekend and am waiting until I finish Runaways (I'm waaaaay behind) before starting anything else.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :arrgh:

Stupid economy. Stupid money. WHY are there SO MANY EXTRA $4 ONE-SHOTS, ANNUALS and SPECIALS and stuff coming out EVERY WEEK!!!!???? It's killing me. I'm on a strict budget and all these specials are making me postpone getting stuff till the next week which causes a cascade effect, cause then I gotta bump stuff from THAT week, etc.

So frustrating.

This is the trailer for a children's comic called Korgi.

It is about a magical village where humans and giant corgis live in harmony.

The lead corgi saves the day by breathing fire.

The fact that Gears of War #1 is the best selling issue of this year proves why this medium is ****ty. No wonder Wildstorm is publishing so many cheap tie-ins - they're not going to get any money selling their own stuff.

Recently I read The Incredible Hercules: Against The World, Fables vol. 11: War and Pieces, and Northlanders vol.1: Sven The Returned. All three were fantastic with Fables being the best. Everyone should check them out if they haven't already.

The current arc of Northlanders (I've only read the first issue) is already my favorite one.

  • Batman - Death Mask Issues 1-4#
  • Superman - The Dark Side TPB

I admit I know absolutely nothing about these but the titles sounded so cool I figured stories had to be good

  • Joker - devil's advocate TPB
  • Batman & Joker switch TPB

^ in a fortnight Dark Knight Bluray is out and I know after I watch it again I'll want to read Joker books so I got these add with Joker's Asylum - Joker that's coming in the post. I'm covered. I know that be a silly reason but I know I'll want to read them after it.

  • Batman the long Halloween TPB

^ I keep hearing people on here talk about this so I figure it's either really good or everyone's talking about it because it's really crap. I took my changes and figured it was in good way.

  • Birds of Prey TPB

^ I picked this up as I heard about the tv show and the daughter of batman and Catwoman and figured ok tv show was crap but if the comic warranted a tv show it had to be pretty damn good right?

Read The Long Halloween before Dark Victory.

Birds of Prey is alright... depending on what writer you're reading. I think Chuck Austen's stuff was pretty average, but Gail Simone's stories were quite good.

Ah cool. I have no idea which TPB I picked up. I'm hoping it's the first one so I get introduction. I should really have looked at that :lol: I justed wanted some kind of hero story I have not read yet and that was it.



The other ones any good or have I bought a crap one?
