Smallville (spoilers)

Yeah, THAT'S grounds to tear an episode apart over. Regardless over who was cast as the villain, what did you think of the actual story and the fact that Clark is finally accepting his destiny?

Who cares?

Bow-Wow for chrissakes.

No. Not the fact that Bow-Wow guest starred is reason for me to hate the show......but the horrible acting all-around, silly plot line (and yes I realize the irony of calling a story from a show based on comic books silly), and just plain horrible misuse of Superman mythos.

They are officially adding another JLA'r to the show in the episode Static. It will be the Martian Manhunter. (According to Wikipedia)

Kick *** episode. And I only got to see that last half hour. The invasion seuence was amazing. And the dialogue between the heroes was something you'd expect from Justice League series. And when they named the team, Justice was brought up, and you'd be hoping that the word League or Society would pop up.

For only watching the last 25-30 minutes of the show, I was still satisfied. Too bad this is going to be the only one like this for a while :x

So I say 4/5.

I'm pissed that Oliver Queen is leaving the show. The Green Arrow is a great character.

yeah, he was a great character. I did read somewhere that though he isn't going to be a recurring one, he will pop up later on. I'm guessing season finale anyone? Justice revisted?

It. Was. Awesome.

This episode didn't fail on any level. It set out to give us a great crowd-pleaser with all the heroes and tons of nods to us fanboys, and boy did it ever deliver.

I was especially impressed with how they actually took the time to explain how and why Oliver met up with Bart, AC and Victor, even going so far as to talk about Vic's girlfriend from "Cyborg". It's always great to see them pay close attention to the continuity.

I have no criticisms here. It's a 5 out of 5.:D

P.S. Did anyone else catch the reference to Green Arrow's old sidekick Speedy? That was a nice touch.

I missed the Speedy reference. When was it?

Let me guess, he called Bart Speedy?

The episode was cool......but from a novelty aspect. It's the comic fan in me that gets giddy at the sight of JL members in "Smallville". It's those episodes that standout and make the show seem pretty good.

But then reality sets in and the show overall becomes stupid again.

I geeked the first time I saw Flash a couple seasons ago. I geeked again when I saw Aquaman. When Cyborg was show I was underwhelmed---but that' because I'm not a Titan fan. It'd be different if it was Mr.Terrifc. But my geekasm over seeing Green Arrow topped them all----both when he showed up in the classic Robin costume and then again with the hoodie costume.

So the idea of an episode featuring them all was just too good to pass up. So I watched it and the show had it's moments---but overall it left a lot to be desired.

And could that last shot of them walking outta the factory as it explodes have been any cheesier? Yes. And they proved it by the triple zoom-in close-up. And of course, Clark had to be in the middle in the leader-like role.......even though he's been the whiny ***** all thru the show.

And what the hell was with them calling Bart "Impulse" instead of Flash? That was so stupid.

2.5/5------great novelty episode.....but I still quit the show. It's just to retarded.

I'd never watched this show until last night. I had been flipping channels (had I made it to Starz first, I would've watched "King of New York" but alas). Not a bad show, but it's pretty high on the cheese factor.

After just seeing that episode, however, I think they nailed the role of Lex Luthor. Hack-man and Spacey were great but this guy... whatever his name is (too lazy to check)... plays a perfect young Lex just from what I saw in this episode.

The rest of the show was just OK, and like I said, pretty high on the cheese factor. Reminded me of Mutant X in that aspect. For superhero-related TV series, I still say Heroes is the best there is.

I was still dissapointed J'onn J'onnz didn't make an appearance on the team. I mean they said he'd show up later this season. Overall good episode. Did anyone else notice the references to JL International and the Watchtower?
