Smallville (spoilers)

I thought this was a really good episode. The only flaw that really sticks out to me is the usual back and forth between Smallville and Metropolis, but it wasn't as bad as usual. I've never been a fan of Cyborg, but he worked pretty well in this episode.

Best of all, we ended it with 2 great things:

1) Lionel finally knows that Clark has superpowers FOR SURE. The only way they could change this is if he's actually Jor-El, but that has potential too.

2) Lionel doing mysterious/possibly evil things to choir music. That was one of the best things about the earlier seasons of the show and I've missed it dearly.

I also liked how instead of some forced lame references to the comics, we had a cool one in the form of Clark seeing Cyborg's half-bionic face when he X-rayed him.

And when Clark and Lana were watching Cyborg and Kathryn hugging I was afraid they were going to look at each other and think "Aww, and we're in love too". But they didn't! It was a "why don't we have that?" look! Hooray!

This is the first time I've been reminded of that old Smallville feeling(the one from the first 3 seasons) in a long, long time.

The show maybe getting back on track after all. I sure hope so.

4.5 out of 5.

Agreed. I called the Lionel thing if that's what's going on.... er I called it if that's not what's going on. Point is, I always thought it was happening due to the timeing of Lionel's coma.

And bad news.... mid season break :(

Smallville will be back in April.

I hate Mid Season breaks. Well I thought it was a good episode. I wonder witch DC character will be next, to make an intro.?

It has been heavily rumored that a DC character will be showing up in the season finale. Alfred Gough has even said that there's a chance a DC character will appear in the finale.

I want it to be Bart Allen from "Run", who comes back with a new DC character and the two help Clark out with something, perhaps Zod and Brainiac.

I was gonna give it a 4 but that final scene was amazing!! I needed this so bad after such a dry run of stale episodes

Word!!!! I wasn't really impressed with the show as it was going. To me it just another one of the special episodes with other heroes from DC continuity. Flash? Awesome! Aquaman? Ok...but still kinda cool. Cyborg? Not my first choice...but ok.

But it was the scenes without Clark that had me going. I love what is going on between Lionel and Martha. It leaves so many questions and possibilities out there?
"Your secret is safe with me Kal-El."

Does this means that he's Jor-El? Does it mean that he loves Martha so much that even though he knows Clark's secret that he'll keep it safe? Is Lionel up to something sinister?

I feel like my head will explode if I don't get answers!!!!!

That would kick so much @ss.

The last two episodes were all right. I was pleased surprisingly with last weeks with Lana and the whole "I'm addicted" crap. The writers of the show have a way of making the worst concepts the best episodes with their nods and foreshadowings. Anyway I'm not behind on shows I just don't watch them "live" anymore because I'm always busy. But Fine's back and that's just not lame at all and the whole tension with Lionel now, considering I thought he was a good guy, is very interesting.

Ya, the last episode was better. It was a little slow at the beginning but got better as the show went on. It got me interested in what is going to happen now that Clark knows that Lionel knows his secret & Dr. Fine is alive.

So I've lost interest in the show after the episode where his dad died.

I was pissed that they killed Lana then turned around and killed his dad instead. If they were going to do that why not do it begin with. Or at least like Lana still know his secret. Think of the stories that could of been told if she and Lex knew. Or if they killed her he could of been droven into Lois' arms. But instead they kill the one that has no affect on the story.

The man has a heart attack. You would think that Clark would race him to the hostipal instead of sitting there.

And I missed a few episode but now I see that Lana and Clark are broken up again. AGAIN!? And now she's jumping bones with Lex. This show pisses me off.

I am interested in the return of Brainaic but I don't know if I'm that interested.

Well if you think about it people cared more and were deeply saddened when Jonathan was killed off, and we know that Lana didn't exactly have that popularity even though she was hot.

Mediocre episode tonight.

It's out in the open with Clark and Lionel. I want Lionel to be a good guy real bad. The headache at the end has me intrigued. I was hopeing the guy holding them hostage has something to do with Krypton only because the mask was so similar to the one from Superman I when Clark discovers his history and powers.

I was hoping really badly they would kill off chloe. I HATE that b****!!! If the death of any character would improve the show it would be her.
