So I guess at the Tokyo game show Sony announced a price drop for the 20GB version from $515.00 to $429.00. This price is for the the Japan model only but could be a good sign of a possible price drop for everyone else. We'll see.....

The also added HDMI to all systems. If the bring the 20 gb down to 4 bills and the 60gb down to 5, they are back on the right track. Still wont get mine till next year though. Im cool with the 360 for now.

i'm the same. I love the 360. I plan to get a Wii around dec-january just after launch. the ps3 however as much as I want it i'm waiting till around auguest to get one so i have it in time for wwe smackdown vs raw 08

I know I cant wait that long :noway:

I might just cave in if the price break also hits the states :evil:

I'm a sucker for new tech. But Im gonna try and wait but I really want to play Zelda so I might get the wii + zelda on the lanch.When the hell I'm I gonna get the time to play all of them?

another reason i'm waiting is to see if the ps3 has any bugs at launch and the price will be lower and there will more games i like out. Although i may get it around may with Spider-man 3

guys I have some BIG NEWS
My father knows someone at sony and he told my father that: 1. The PS3 has been delayed from november until march. I don't understand how sony can do that since I've heard that sony's fiscial year for the PS3 ends in march. 2. the price has droped for the PS3 here in the states. I read that when Japan droped the price for the PS3 the president of sony of america said that he was fine with the $499 and $599 price tag on it. Well now it seems that the price of the PS3 will drop.

You can now reserve a PS3 at any Gamestop store. This is only in-store preorders and each store has a limited supply of systems. 1 per customer with a $100 deposit. Online pre-orders coming soon or so I hear.

I got an e-mail giving me links to pre-order either a 20GB or 60GB PS3.

I just went into mine to preorder one and they already sold out. They opened at 10:00 am and sold out at 11:30...
