Ourchair's Awesome Anime Thread

I checked out one more-

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0- The first episode of this I liked better than any of the others I recently checked out, even Bakemonogatari. It has way more plot and character development than any of the others I mentioned in its' first episode.

It was interesting, I don't know if I'll stick with it though (I'm not a big natural disaster fan).

The fight from episode 8 of Bakemonogatari is ****ing hardcore! Beware of spoilers!

Question what is "Bakugan Battle Brawlers" i keep seeing merchandise of it have never seen the show even on tv or advertised.

It's another anime about merchandise.

It just finished Elfen Lied. If you can get past the disturbing aspects and over the top violence and nudity, it's ****in awesome.

There were some moments that really disturbed me.

But I also want to know why they always make the animes before the manga finishes so they have to change the ending.

Inuyasha, Trigun, Elfen Lied, Fullmetal Alchemist, & Hellsing all of the top of my head.

So they can capitalize on the manga's popularity at it's peak (this is especially true for long running series like One Piece). Also, they can make more money later by going back and redoing it, like they are currently doing with Hellsing and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Yep, which makes sense, if the anime starts after the manga's popularity dies done it may not only get canceled, but not even picked up. Studios need a lot of confidence before shelling out the money for the projects

That would have been cool if,
a) The guy actually put up some kind of fight
b) It didn't keep cutting away to stills of Japanese words
c) Fix a and b.

Though the music was ****ing cool.

Eh the whole series does that word thing so I guess I didn't really notice.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I actually thought it rather cool, I think it's just the sheer quirky feel of the show is why I love it so.

Elfen Lied was the first anime that I watched. That's a hell of a way to get into the hobby.

I've recently started watching Baccano. It's great.

Now if only I could find them in the english dub, which fits the setting better.

ANGRY LOVE.
