Could you use the WiiConnect24? I'm not sure how it works exactly, but I hear you could use it instead of connecting or something like that.

Either you need Wireless or someone in your area needs to have an unlock wireless connection.
It doesn't work for me. . .I need to wait for the LAN adapter to come out in January.

Keep checking it out though, There is about 2.5 million more Wii's being shipped then there is PS3's.

Lynx, if you have internet, you don't need a wireless router, OR the LAN adapter, cause the nintendo wi-fi usb adapter for the DS can be used to connect your wii! just did it myself.

The local Toys R Us is getting a shipment in Sunday. If I had a job I'd seriously consider waiting in line Saturday night to get one. The weather here is nice - almost 60 for the past week.
