Lost *spoilers*

I bet Lost is just like The Truman Show.

Has anybody heard about that ABC is going to (or considering, can't remember) to air some of it's shows on the Internet starting the day after it's been aired in the US? Lost and Desperate Housewives is some of the shows that has been mentioned. It is apparently going to be streamed or something like that since it will air with 3 x 1 min commercials that can't be skipped.

Edit: According to The Wall Street Journal it is Disney who is behind the idea and the webpage where you can get the shows will be made public on April 30th.

If that is the case, I would seriously hurl. I've put so much stock in this show and to have it end like that... To have it all be a contrived reality show would devestate me. Personally, I think Lindelof and Abrams are more creative than that. As much as you guys seem to think that is a good idea, I'm gonna have to be the one to say that I don't like it. It's not like you didn't see THAT one coming, anyway. :)

I found some new information...

1.) "?" Will be an Eko-centric episode, following the reason why he was in Australia and the reason why he was heading to Los Angeles. Claire will be a part of his flashback, although it is not clear to me how. Also, the episode will follow Eko and Locke trying to decipher what Locke has remembered from the map. This map, the creators said, will play a big role in the finale four episodes.

2.) In the next episode, an Ana-Lucia episode, Jack's father makes an appearance in her flashback.

3.) It appears, in the finale, Desmond will return... We will find out how he reached the island (interestingly enough, I hear Libby lends him a boat) and how he and Kelvin delved into the Hatch. Dr. Candle will also crop up during the finale, which only tells us we're about to blow everything about the Hatch wide open.

4.) Jack and Kate may seem to be heading towards a relationship, however, something will happen to them that will seperate them even more further apart... Best guess? Sawyer has something to do with it.

5.) It's rumored two characters will die... Which two I have no idea, but there seem to be quite a few names runnning around this forum.

Oh, I know... Just saying that is how I feel about it. I wasn't trying to attack any particular person for having an idea. That would not be cool...

And what's cooler than being cool, Ice? ICE COLD!

I was talking about the show to one of my friends friend in the cafe today at my college, and he was telling me how his theory about the show is that everyone on the island is really in purgotary, meaning they're really dead, and the others who had died in the plane crash are really alive.

I don't know if that was brought up by someone else before, but he was exicted telling me this. He loves the show, too.

I don't know if it's been mentioned here yet, but tvguide.com just confirmed that the 2-hour finale is basically just one long
Desmond
flashback. :D (Interspersed throughout the show, of course.)

Tell him to join up on the UC so we can talk... The more the marrier, right?

Yeah, that was brought up by a few people, and intertwined with the deady sins and stuff.

So many ideas have been speculated, it's going to be hard for the creators to do an original one. I'm sure it will be disappointing.

The 23rd episode (the one following Three Minutes--and which may or may not be the finale depending on how its aired) is titled Live Together, Die Alone...which goes back to what Jack said towards the end of White Rabbit from the first season...wonder if this is speaking of the survivors themselves, or the survivors and the Others...hmmmm.

Do we know whose episode it will be?

No...if it is the season finale (again, I'm not sure if it is or isn't), then the flashbacks will be Desmond's, at least thats whats rumored. Here's the link with the episode guide (just scroll down and click the link of the episode name for a summary...isn't on available yet for that episode however):

Its the 23rd episode, so I'm assuming there will be one more to make it 24 episodes like the first season.

So the actress who plays Libby might be landing a pilot at CBS......

Grrr.... I hope this doesn't force the writers to kill her off.

BUT, on CBS, she will only be a "recurring guest-star". Pfft.

Right...I think its safe to say as long as she's only a recurring guest star on the other show, there shouldn't be much of a problem in keeping her on Lost. It isn't like she's a major part of the show at the moment. As her relationship with Hurley progresses that could change, of course. We'll have to wait and see.

This could also be a sign that she's already been lined up to be axed. I still think she might be one of the Others, even though she was in Hurley's flashback.

I believe TV Guide magazine ran an article about the second season of Lost concluding, including various hints as to what is to become. For instance, as mentioned before, Libby may be a target for execution... She's been signed to another television show said to be aired in the Fall of 2006. Also, the magazine said that Ana Lucia may be on the chopping block since fans did not recieve her very well. This resulted in fewer scenes with her involvement and less of an emphasis on her as originally planned. Now, I've heard there will be two deaths, too. This wasn't in the magazine... But I do remember back both of these actresses were arrested for drunk driving so maybe the creators decided to kill them off so they wouldn't have to worry about these two being liabilities all the time.

The episode, "?", will be an Eko-centric episode. It follows Eko and Locke as they try to find the source of the island's mysteries... Meanwhile, Jack is reeling from the incident in the Hatch. This is a brief synopsis I found somewhere...

If Henry does strangle Ana-Lucia, who is going to kill him? Jack? Ana-Lucia dying, and/or him killing Henry would leave him reeling from the incident.
