Lost *spoilers*

Kate's relationship with Sawyer is odd. Like you noticed on the show, they have a mutual understanding together. This is now understood because Kate feels that Sawyer is a lot like her father who, in turn, reminds her of herself. It's obvious that Sawyer has feelings for Kate, however, Kate has been difficult to read. She's between Jack and Sawyer. It's kind of odd, but if you ask me she belongs with Sawyer.

Sawyer? She belongs with Jack (If Jack's still not married. His wife, off the island, is dead right?) If Sawyer reminds her of her father then that's definitely not what we want but Kate will obviously be drawn to it. Sawyer's character is very dark to me. I'd like to see him take a turn for the worst and really start being shady.

I actually think she's good with Jack, too. And I thought I remembered something that his wife is dead, or at least, not with her anymore.

I do think Kate is better off with Sawyer. They have a closer understanding.
Let's not forget that Sawyer is actually a good guy and actually pretty insecure. Hell, I've known enough girls that end up with guys because they like 'projects'.

Ana-Lucia and Jack? Jack's a doctor, she was a cop. They both have put themselves into positions where they have responsibility, even within their own groups; each did take the role of leader. If nothing else, it's logical.

Same with Kate and Sawyer, both country folks.

We don't know what went on with Jack's wife... The show's creators assure an explantion. They say it has something to do with the tattoos that Jack has. If you haven't seen them, they were brought up very early in the first season.

Sawyer has a good head on him, but accepts the fact that the only way to solve his problem is revenge. That kind of attitude gives him that darkness, which I like, but there is an interior to his character that Kate notices in him that she didn't in her father.

DIrishB (and any others who are curious) : The LOST magazine includes actor interviews, competitions, episode guides, news, posters, readers' letters, readers' art, reports from the island, FREE GIFTS, writer/director interviews, pieces written by the cast and crew, and more. I was only SLIGHTLY underwhelmed by the first issue as a whole, mainly because the price for it is so damn high (I'd only buy it if you're more than just a casual fan). But, oh man... I got the second issue early (again) at a bookstore, and I haven't read a single article yet, BUT just by looking through each page quickly, it has quickly become a must-get for me. It really is pretty amazing, intriguing, and fun to read because you get so much insight. Now, by free gifts, I mean free subscriptions to the mag, free season one DVD sets, and other lost goodies. (Of course this all ties in to the competion thing.)

Ah, ok. I probably wouldn't be interested then, I just remember I used to get the old Farscape Magazines and they included short stories involving the characters and events from the show. That was what I found most interesting, not really into the interviews and behind the scenes stuff, which were also a large portion of that magazine (I think they're both published by Titan Publishing, based out of the UK).

Anyway, thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye out for it in a bookstore or something, and if it looks interesting I'll pick it up. Appreciate the summary though.

Yeah, there's no point to the magazine. I really hope they go no further than what they have with this franchise. It's just a good show.

Probably gets annoying if you're on for too long, right?

Hey, are we getting a new episode this week... I believe my friend said we were.

Erm, not that I know of. I was pretty sure it was not on until jan. Though you'd be in a better position than i to know for certain.

(I could check on the net of course but that means actually doing something)

No, you're right, not until January. I remember specifically because it pissed me off.

Hey, so do you see what happens to the program if you don't put the numbers in?

I have a similar program, a Windows version of it. And what happens to me is that once the clock hits zero, your screen goes completely black for a moment, and then it comes back, with the program completely gone.

I think it means to suggest that nothing bad will happen once the clock runs out.
