Another theory my friend just came up with is actually pretty interesting. He thinks that the little boy that appeared to Locke and told him he couldn't break the rules is a part of the Smoke Monster. As opposed to one man, my friend believes he's several. the Locke portion of the Smoke is trying to segment himself from the other personalities (one being this little boy) but can not due to the rules. The rules that apply to being a part of the Smoke Monster. What this means I dunno, and I am thinking about it now... And it seems sort of illogical because the rules have to do with candidates and the rule stipulates that the Smoke Monster can't kill them. I dunno. I'm saying the kid is Jacob.
what? It's history! I think it would be more offensive to change history to make it seem nicer. I'm pretty sure that everyone who heard that the Black Rock was a slave ship pictured white/European slavers and African slaves. That's just the reality of our history, it's not nice, but trying to make it more nice by changing history would be a terribly insensitive thing to do.

Nope, don't get it. His name in Gotham city would be Mayor Garcia...
but that does raise an interesting point. What would his flash sideways be about? if the island, that he was on, sank in 1977 what happened to him? We would have to assume that he was still on the island working for Jacob until that point, so would he just be somewhere else, still living his immortal life?
I would really like to have some flash backs with him instead of a flash sideways.

Locke looks like Voldemort and Kate is terrifying.
I find it funny that out of a group of a fugitive wanted for murder, an Iraqi torturer, a con man, a drug addict, and a hunter its the spinal surgeon that's associated with a handgun.

I've read some tremendously huge spoilers. I'm not going to share them with you guys, but know that the end of this season is going to pretty final in terms of the series closing out.

I liked tonight's episode a lot. Sawyer is always a great character, whenever he's active on a mission. He's always going to find out what will benefit him most and do anything in order to get it. Classic.
How they are working Claire into this all is going to be very interesting now... Cool.
