Heroes seasons 1 & 2 series discussion [spoilers]

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Well, it seems quite possibly Kaito may not be as dead as we think...
I actually met George Takei on Saturday, and mentioned what a shame it was his character had died. and to quote him

"You are in for a big surprise then. Nothing its ever what it seems..."
then grinned and wouldn't say any more..

. . .well, sonuva*****.

Now, I'm DAMN excited. I love his character on the show. :D

Is that you in the picture? Because you look exactly like Adam Hughes and it freaked me out.

Also - Kaito not being dead was one of those "complete double mega twist" possibilities, but like Peter turning out to be an alien mongoose with super AIDS, there's no hints for me to guess, so I don't spout 'em.

I think it's more likely we'll see him in 1671 or in a flashback than alive again. I dunno.

Also, I can't help but do my George Takei voice when I read his quote.

Nice guy?

That thought crossed my mind as well.

Me too. But she could be Sylar's daughter for all we know. There's no hints or anything to what her family is. Would've been nice for a clue. :|

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

My money is on her being the daughter of the Company Man who hired Mohinder and can turn things gold.

The other thought is that daddy is merely a "codename" or mocking nickname for her boss.

Company Man: You ****ed up and now we have to send someone in to clean up your mess.
Elle: So I killed him. What's the big deal?
Company Man: Silence! No more nonsense. You'll come back to NY and meet with _____. Do you understand?
Elle: Yes daddy.

Something to that effect.

Yeah its me... There is a better close up of me in the Firefly thread with Jewel Staite..

The "Four Months Ago" episode was what first flashed into my head, but when he described it as a 'big surprise' and everyone knows about that episode then his comment referrring to him in that just didn't seem to fit...

Yeah he was really friendly and chatty. Which was great because someone previously had mentioned he was know to be kinda moody, but he wasn't like that at all.

I have to wonder if these people get a rep for being moody because they were at a con and were just pissed off. I can believe that. I think people can be too quick to judge.

I know what you mean, I met Charisma Carpenter earlier this year, and she was moody as well, but everyone else I have spoken to has said she was really lovely.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

But maybe one of Electrocutie's powers is she AGES really fast! Or Sylar ate the brian of the Cloning-Baby-Asexual-Reproduction guy we never knew existed!

I'm just saying - it could be anyone.

EVEN YOU.

Bob was the first guy who I thought of. Especially since she said she worked for a Company, and Bob seems to be running the Company right now. I only thought of Nathan and Papa Patrelli later, after thinking how much she looked like Claire.

Actually, I'd say Nathan isn't likely since he seems to have nothing to do with the Company (And he can't be that much older than Kristen Bell). I'm leaning towards either Bob or Papa Patrelli, I think.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Peter = Vulcan.

Peter = Vulcan x2 if he meets Vulcan.

Stupid Peter power.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

According to spoiler fix, THREE regular characters will be dead before January.

Now, who is actually considered "regular" on the show? It's a pretty large cast now...

I would love to see Parkman, Monica, and Niki bite it. The Mexicans, too. Before Parkman.

Also, I was thinking... Hiro's father may not return alive, although Hiro may go into the past to try and save him from being pushed off the building.

I. HATE. LOVE. TRIANGLES.

I hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, hate them, I MOTHER ****ING HATE THEM!!!

Even more than stupid that cliche high school drama (can't they just ****ing drop it?).

Other than that good episode, I'm really interested in where this evacuation thing leads to.

I don't mind the love triangle because it seems like it is over before it began. Hiro ****ed up time, Kensei became a villain instead of a hero. Works for me.

And I agree about the high school bullcrap. It's really annoying. The only thing it's showing me is that West is going to be a villain. They are very slowly building up to it.

The best parts of the episode, though, were Peter's mystery and the Company stuff (Mohinder/Bob and Noah/The Haitian), which is very obviously related. Although I think it's a little cliche that they used the time jumping trick again, I'm very interested in where it goes. I guarantee that someone, probably the Company, released the virus and it mutated, killing everyone. Noah proves that he's willing to go to any lengths to bring down the Company, which is pretty awesome and very much in line with his character. The paintings were a little disappointing, only because, right now, they don't mean a whole lot. And who, exactly, is Adam Monroe?

Either way, good episode. It seems to finally be moving somewhere, although at a slower pace than I expected.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

This show is officially RETARDED.

1.) Monica willingly accepts a shot to the arm from a stranger. Despite the fact that she doesn't have to have it, it's stupid of her to not at least disagree with this kind of treatment... ESPECIALLY under such suspicious circumstances.

2.) Wouldn't Ando be able to just find the rest of the story if these Kensei stories were legendary? I mean, come on... There would have to be a legend or difference in the stories about Kensei now... Go get onto the internet, Ando. Jesus.

3.) The high school drama is something that people would've bought a long time ago. There are smarter audiences now where we don't need to be fed such contrived garbage.

And yeah...

At least Mr. Bennett was badass in this episode.

When does Lost come on again? February? Can't come soon enough - entertaining television doesn't exist without it.
