Heroes seasons 1 & 2 series discussion [spoilers]

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Do they put full episodes up at nbc.com? I'm going to be missing tonight's episode (I have an orchestra concert to play in), and I'm just wondering if they do and/or how fast the episodes get up.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Loved the Daddy Parkman/Nightmare Man screwing with Matt and Nathan. Oh oh, I'm misunderstood... I'll show you wants coming.... Ha! suck on your own nightmares...

Did anyone notice in the painting Peter did, near where Caitlin pointed out Peter and herself, there seemed to be a figure that looked kinda like Sylar watching them..?

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Mr. Parkman and Elle are awesome. Everything else was alright (Although the way Ando is reading Hiro's adventure like a story is kind of cool). But, now that we have our villains, it's time this series revved up a bit.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

The only think I thought was dumb was the guy thinking there was no way Kristin Bell could be a threat. At the very least, she could have had a gun. In fact, what she did to him really wasn't that different from shooting him after all. He should've been armed, and she could've melted the gun or something.

Other than that, it was really good. It's funny that Peter and Nathan have switched hairstyles.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Just in case anyone's interested, the Graphic Novel Vol. 1 collection comes out November 7. I know a lot of people think its stupid to pay $25-30 for something you can read for free on the website, but I've got my reasons:

1.) Can't read the online versions on the crapper

2.) Eventually, those online versions will be taken down and probably gone forever

3.) It features some unseen Tim Sale art I'm dying to check out

4.) Having an actual physical copy always trumps bit versions in my opinion

Its available with two different covers, one by Jim Lee.

I'm picking up Ross'...its just prettier.

They ARE download-able you know, other than that your statements stands true. :D

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

Heroes gets more and more corny as I watch. Like, it's to the point where the sugary fluff is becoming annoying. Case and point - Monica. I don't like her character taking up the amount of time she does an episode. She's got no real importance. None.

I want to see Sylar and Peter more. That's all. Nathan is cool now, too... Although, we lost a lot when he decided to no longer hide his flight and give up politics.

Also, is the Nightmare Man the legitimate villain and the hunter of the 12? Don't buy that... Unless what killed Hiro's father was an illusion.

Re: Heroes *Spoilers*

I think Heroes needs a new rule for new characters.

They get one episode to introduce themselves and then they don't get a B-plot. If they're not advancing the older, more interesting characters or being introduced, then they shouldn't be a major part of the episode. We can maybe get a few scenes to check in, but their status quo isn't going to change until they meet the main characters so they shouldn't be taking up time.

The already-established main characters and conflicts are already competing with each other for time and the newcomers are going to have to put up a better show if they don't want people to resent their existence. Luckily, it looks like this problem is getting solved with Mohinder meeting Monica and Sylar about to eat the boring twins' brains.

Was that Montreal or Paris in the painting? That cathedral in the background looked a lot like Notre Dame, but there might be a reproduction or similar building in Montreal.
