Fables series discussion (spoilers)

And since the current storyline is going to be about a year long, you'll have at least that long between trades.
There's no way that The Good Prince will be a single trade collection. It will definitely be in two parts, at least. I'm reading it in trades as well, and i'll be really upset if it takes so long to be republished in collected format.

I think it's eight parts, in which case I guarentee it'll be collected in one big volume...

4 issues = too few for a trade, and anyways Sons of the Empire and Wild Things are a trade in itself... I guess maybe they could put the letters issue with the first four issues of The Good Prince, but I think its more likely that they'll collect that later...

Hmmmmm

I'll go ask on the Fabletown Boards.

So much to tell.....

Basically---Blue tell Fly that he won't help him. He knows what he's going thru...but Fly just doesn't understand how war works and that sending him off to the Homelands is a death sentence.

Back in town Frau, Prince, Beauty and Beast have a meeting where Frau informs them that the Emporer of the Adversary is actually Gepetto. And that she's known that for some time. The other 3 are shocked that she would keep that info. She then tells them that she has her own spies over there and that she is aware of the pending attack in 3 years time. Full out war.

Meanwhile Bufkin hears the knight ghost speak again. He tries to say something about it but they all tell him to go away. He later accidentally knocks over the statue. Fly comes across it and inside the armor was the ghost of Lancelot from King Arthur!

FABLES FTW!

I didn't even click that it was Lancelot. That makes this issue even better.

I don't think I've ever posted on here about Fables. That isn't because I didn't read it. That isn't because I don't like it.

It's because after finishing each issue, I'm just left breathless. I have to sit for a moment and process the sheer awesomeness that just washed over me. It's how I felt after watching Serenity--it was such a powerful movie, I had to spend a little bit of time resetting my brain.

Everything about this series is perfect. I want to list the things about it that are best, but I'd just end up recapping the entire issue. I love this series. It's... and Blue... and Bufkin... Frau... Lancelot...

There aren't enough :rockon:s in the world for this series.

The Fables solicitation for August mentions that it's the cubs' fifth birthday and the Fables and Jack timelines merge! That's no good at all. The cubs were born in 2004 and, by my calculations, Jack takes place in 2008. It doesn't work on any level at all!

ZOMGAAAAAHHH!!!!KABOOM!!!
