Holy poop.

5/5

This book is so good, I can't believe it.

Murdock's escape by making it look like Punisher took him hostage was very well done. Not only because it made perfect use of Punisher, but because with Danny Rand out there as the fake DD and the warden being on Matt's side, it seems to put enough doubt in peoples' minds as to the relationship between Matt and DD. How brilliant.

And Foggy being alive - totally didn't see that coming and to be honest I'm a little skeptical, but I hope they can pull this off convincingly.

Wow.

A lot of people aren't gonna be happy about that. I don't get the whole secret identity for Daredevil anymore anyway. Hell's Kitchen residents know who it is and they don't care as long as they're protected. Just like Cage explained in New Avengers. The villains aren't gonna play dumb and say, "Oh. They were wrong about Matt being Daredevil." Is this just so "officially" they can't pin Matt? If that's the case, I'm cool with it. But if it turns into the supporting casts all saying "I didn't know Matt was Daredevil." I think it's a big cop-out.

And then Banshee's gonna come back in Uncanny right? I like Foggy around but I think it would've made interesting if he stayed dead.

I really truly seems like it to me. He put himself in jail and realized he made a mistake in doing so. Now he's just fixing that mistake (even though "he", Matt Murdock, has little to do with it). It's not about tricking super villains. This is waaaaaay past that.

When Foggy died I thought - holy crap. I can't imagine this book without him. But that's what I love about this book going all the way back to Vol. 1 when Karen page was killed. Nothing is sacred. You won't see Aunt May dying in Spider-Man (they brought her back the one time they did kill her). Daredevil is too dark and tragic for anyone but Matt Murdock to be safe, and even then they push him about as far as they can.

In other words, I agree. Foggy was better off dead, at least it seems so at this point. But it's early, so I'm willing to wait it out.

Just read the issue when I picked up my comics earlier.

Sweetness abound. Love how things are going and I figured Foggy wasn't dead from something that was said about him a while ago, but I had dismissed that. So yeah, seeing him was a shocker and it was cool. There's definetly something up with him being alive still and I can't wait to see why that all went down. I honestly hope Matt doesn't find out for a while, keeping things interesting with him still believing Foggy's dead.

I still prefer Foggy dead....at least for a little while.

I didn't know much about the series before Brubaker joined....but I at least knew that Foggy was a staple. Brubaker coming in and changing that was ballsy in my opinion and thought it would make for some seriously good story. But by bringing him back it's like a cop-out. Although we still have Matt thinking Foggy's dead so we have him still going to some slighter extremes.

Well I prefer him coming back now part of a large on going plotline rather than 3 years from now in some stupid manner making him into a villain then turn good

I think it's good that Foggy isn't dead, otherwise it makes it look like Brubaker just wants to kill off popular supporting characters in all the books he is writing. :D

And here we have the punisher using a bland man as a human shield....

Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy Foggy-stache

Yep, I'm looking forward to Criminal, especially since Brubaker is my favourite writer at the moment.

He posted a great blurb about, which makes it sound like something that's exactly to my tastes:

They're serialized stories. So, like one arc is five or six issues. And then throughout that, there are back-up stories that flesh out their 'world' or 'universe' and show different sides to these guys and gals. And even hint at things to come. This is going to be a thinking persons book, as far as little things meaning more later. There's no wasted space in this book at all. Various characters will take center stage in different arcs, but they're all appearing, and they're all connected. And each of them have plenty of stories to star in.

Aight I've been thinkin about reading this for a while. Everyone keeps saying its the best book out. Where should I start??
