Buzzscope (I still call it that) Previews Daredevil #86
ProjectX2 said:Dude. You posted this in the other thread. I already told you it had been posted. You removed the link, and now you've posted it again. In the same thread that it's already been posted in, by Overlord.
TheManWithoutFear said:Same preview? The other one had images with certain characters. This one has different pages with dialogue? Am I loseing it? And did anyone post the Father delay?

Victor Von Doom said:So my girlfriend is wanting to buy me stuff.........just because. I decided that based on my current love for the Brubaker run and all the praises by MWoF, Ice and E on Bendis's run....that I MUST---yes MUST read this run.
And what better way than having my gf get me the TPBs.
So what TPB cover Bendis's run on Daredevil (starting from beginning to end)?
Hell a brotha out!!!
TheManWithoutFear said:Starts with Volume 3: Wake Up and continues with Volume 5: Underboss
Playing to the Camera was never collected and not important to read at all. So my volume numbers might be off. Camera takes place after Wake Up before Underboss.
Do yourself a favor and pick up Guardian Devil though. It's one of my favorites and sets the stage for everything else.
Victor Von Doom said:So only Vol.3-5? Plus a couple of random stories? Hmmm....I thought there would be more?
E said:Bendis wrote 9 volumes - 3-13 (except #8 like I said). I would recommend all of it - it's all great. Never a dull moment and never a wasted issue.
Vol. 1 was written by Kevin Smith and Vol. 2 by David Mack (Mack also did vol. 8).
Victor Von Doom said:Gothcha. Thanks.
More than likely I will check out #1 and #8 as well just to get the complete history/feel for the character.
E said:Vision Quest ( # 8 ) really doesn't have anything to do with Daredevil, it's about Echo. Echo first appears in Vol. 2 also written by David Mack, which Daredevil is a part of.
I'm not even really sure why Vision Quest isn't an Echo mini or something.
If you don't read #8 you won't miss any of the DD storyline. If you miss Vol. 2 you will, so check that out.
