I believe the clue was "Give me a red!"

Yeah, Nuke is controlled by red, white and blue pills, when Nuke says "Give me a red" he is asking for a red pill, which tends to make him angry.

Devil's Advocate: Changing of the Guard at Daredevil

Ed Brubaker said:
"I'm exploring other sides of Murdock, as well, delving into a side of him we've rarely seen, when he goes over the edge," said Brubaker. "There's a reckless abandon to his character that's only rarely been touched on, and I want to follow that and see where it leads me."

Fun little tidbit about DD in Civil War:

And everyone's in here: the Young Avengers play a crucial role. Spider-Man does something shocking. Reed and Sue Richards face a terrible, life-altering decision. And Millar reveals just how there can be a Daredevil on the streets when Matt Murdock is in jail, and it's cool.

From Wizarduniverse.com:

DAREDEVIL
No special announcements on this one, just a great Ed Brubaker run capped off with insane endings on both issues. Brubaker, who's currently knocking 'em dead on Captain America and X-Men: Deadly Genesis, had arguably the toughest follow-up jobs in comics after Bendis' revolutionary 60-issue stint ended two months ago.

But the writer stepped up to the plate and scored a touchdown (that's how great it was!) Not to spoil anything, so turn away if you haven't read it, but killing Foggy was incredibly heartwrenching and not contirved or over-the-top in any way. The only thing I would have liked to have seen though, would have been Brubaker's take on dear old Franklin, so it's a shame he's gone so quickly in the run. Oh well, maybe the cosmic cube can save him...
