Woah easy there fella. Let's not toss all our eggs in one basket. I agree with your Owl idea (Damnit it was my Ultimate Owl. I don't know if I ever posted it here though) but I don't see anyone other than Hammerhead in that picture and there's only room for a few characters...The Overlord said:That's cool. I wonder who killed Foggy, soon the title will have to be changed to Daredevil: Man Without a Supporting Cast. Also I think that this is the first time a super hero has been put in prison with his ID revealed (Punisher doesn't count.)
Also if Matt is going to be in prison for a while a lot of his rogues would have a chance to try and take him out. You could have DD villains fill the roles of prison characters:
Owl would be the guy who runs things on the inside, building a criminal empire within the prison , controlling the prison by smuggling in drugs and bribing the staff.
Bullet would would be Owl's bodyguard who serves the Owl because he is paying for his son's care.
Bushwacker could be the psycho preacher.
Purple Man could be the psycho rapist who is disliked due to the nature of his crimes and his insanity.
Mr. Fear is disliked becaused he is seen as a poseur and because he ratted on Crossfire. He is always trying to find a way to get some respect.
Bullseye would be the badass that looks down on everyone. Even with two legs broken and in a wheelchiar he is still feared.
Mr. Hyde is the junkie who would do anything to get his fix.
Gladiator would Matt's resentful ally in prison.

I'm pysched to see how this plays out. In Bendis "what if", everyone was too scared to make a pass at him. I'm sure it will be the same here save the supervillains. I wonder how long he's gonna stay held up for.
Who kills Foggy indeed...
Because it's overkill. Who said all of the villains are held up in the same place anyway? The Overlord said:If he's in prison, what's to stop some of his old enemies that are in prison like Mr. Fear, Purple Man, Mr. Hyde and Bushwacker from going after him? One of the story telling benefits behind bars is that he is surrounded by his greatest enemies at all times, it be shame to waste that opportunity.

[This is probably going to be a long story...]
On January 16, 1996, this site was started as a way to pass the time between university classes and a way to learn a new language called "HTML". I had been collecting comics over ten years at that point. Daredevil had always been my favourite title. So, I made a pretty basic page, placing some really poor scans of DD I had (at this point I still had a hand scanner, so I could only scan small images). And there on my university server sat my first site.
And then something strange happened... people started writing to me, telling me that they were glad to see a Daredevil site. So I updated the site with the latest information. The J.M. DeMatteis storyline was winding down and soon, Karl Kesel and Cary Nord were going to take over. This thing called the Internet was taking off.
The day I knew that my site was much bigger than I imagined was when former DD writer Dan Chichester sent me an e-mail, praising my work and also telling me some things I had posted that were incorrect about his stories. An actual DD writer wrote to me. And that's how I began interviewing DD creators... over the years I've asked them all politely if they'd be interested, and for the most part, all have been very accomodating. Without this site, I never would have wrote the DD section of the Marvel Knights encyclopedia, and I'd never have had the chance to help out on the Daredevil DVD. I've never taken this luck for granted.
But the most important thing, for me, has always been the interaction I've had with all the people who've ever passed through or have been a regular visitor. DD fans are a passionate bunch, and I'm glad I've been able to help promote this comic, this character, this universe, for all these years. This is why I keep doing this.
As always, thanks for visiting. And thanks for reading.

Bendis was thrilled that Marvel editorial and "Daredevil" fans were so supportive of Matt Murdock's outing. "The 'Daredevil' movie came out like three days after I got the book and usually when stuff like that goes down there's a tendency to get a little more conservative with the product that they're putting out. I was thrilled that they went along with it," Bendis explained. "I did say of any book at Marvel, this is the book where the audience is built into expecting something unique. Every run on 'Daredevil' has been a unique statement from that person and a lot of chances were taken. So I just went for broke."
Buzzscope said:Matt Murdock's life has been teetering on the edge of destruction. Now, pushed beyond the limit, Matt finds himself behind the eight ball with no clear way out, the people he calls friends slowly deserting him, and Hell's Kitchen slowly slipping out of control. The question is, when his back is against the wall, just how far will Daredevil go to get back what is his? Spinning out of the stunning finale of Bendis and Maleev's ground-breaking run, Brubaker and Lark pick up the billy club and run as hard and as fast as they can to leave their own mark on one of comics' most enduring legends. Long-time DD fans will not be disappointed! This extra-length first issue will have readers talking for years to come!
TheManWithoutFear said:Some highlights for me:
Kingpin, Hammerhead, Owl, Gladiator are all in jail with Matt Murdock. Bullseye isn't in there yet...
They don't seem to be fooling around aboutFoggy's death
Brubaker says he might be useing characters from DD: Father. *Which reminds me. What if the Daredevil imposter is Nero?! *
Nope. The Overlord said:Do think there will be other villains in prison besides HH, Owl, Fisk, Gladiator and perhaps Bullseye?
Patriot Mk2 said:Did JoeQ not make a reference to Nuke in relation to Brubakers run?Never heard of him, something about Born Again?
The Overlord said:He was a psychopath super soldier (controlled by drugs) that the Kingpin borrowed from a corrupt general in his pocket. Nuke took a version of the super soldier serum that created Captain America, but this version of the serum was imperfect and drove him insane. Fisk had Nuke shoot up Hell's Kitchen in effort to draw DD out during the Born Again arc. Its been a while since I have read that story, but I believed he died at the end of the story.
