Captain America Movie

Eh. I thought skinny Steve looked fine as long as they keep most of the shots wide angled. I'm already liking Tucci as Erskine.

I saw the trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA when I saw THOR today, the same trailer I'd seen before, and the 98lb weakling version of Steve Rogers was perfect. The person I saw it with, I said, "That's amazing" and she didn't realise it was CGI. They've cleaned it up brilliantly. Well done, Marvel Studios!

agreed.

That's why there are no Nazis. :?

Well let's be honest. The Nazis only existed in the comics for pure and simple jingoism. In a world with groups like AIM and HYDRA, the Nazis really wouldn't stand a chance. I mean guys like Skull, Zola and Strucker make Adolf look like a choir boy.

there were Nazis in X-Men, and it's doing quite well.

Still looking forward to this movie!

i realized part way into X-Men First class that I had watched far to many of the clip and trailers for it and that it made the film a little bit less exciting for me. So I'm not watching anything else for Captain America until I see the movie next month.

I'm definitely going to print that one out, even if I can only get it in A4 size.

Is anyone else a bit irritated by the fact that Tommy Lee Jones is playing a different character in this, when Norman Osborn was drawn with his likeness for a while there in New Avengers?

Captain America ≠ X-Men

First, Hydra should be the analog for Nazis in all Marvel movies. I've said before, the MU as a whole has men who would have eaten people like Hitler for breakfast. I know many people who're new to comics and say the exact same thing "How in the hell is Red Skull following such an inept troll like Hitler?". Secondly, at no point has Marvel said there are no Nazis in Captain America, they're just focusing on Hydra.

I'm trying to remember who started using TLJ as Osborn, I think it was Diodato on his Thunderbolts run.

Hahaha...Cap's USO costume is awesome and exactly the way something like that would look in the forties.

It's bizarre that so many people are complaining about it.
