Oh God, please, no wings. And since this is taking place in the '40s, they should kind of lean toward the '40s version of Ultimate Captain America's costume.

I like what Hitch did with Cap Reborn where the white streaks are just painted on the side and not actual wings. That costume looked pretty damned cool in my opinion.

Oh I agree, great combination of many design ideas. The painted wing were quite good.

My opinion: this movie features Captain America. Plus it's Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull. You're a giant ******* if you don't think this movie is going to be awesome.

Salon reports actor Dominic Cooper is set to play a younger version of Howard Stark in the film. As mentioned in the first "Iron Man" film, Tony's father made weapons for the war effort and much of his wealth came from that period. The second film established he was involved in the formation of S.H.I.E.L.D. and knew Nick Fury. The actor also appears in the upcoming "Tamara Drewe" based on a UK comic strip.

I'd prefer if they just did a suit that was more or less exactly the same as the one in Millar's first Ultimates book. I prefer when Cap's mask isn't a stylised helmet as it is in some books (and the above statuette).

I'm fairly anti-wings, but if they could make them work, fair enough.

Looks a lot like the one that was posted for Thor...not sure I'm buying that it's legit, but it doesn't look bad.

On a side note the photoshop of Evans in costume above the logo looks pretty sweet. That's what his costume should look like in the Avengers movie.

I'm not really a fan of how the stripes look. I think they should loose the harness and have the stripes kind of like this:

You definitely need the third strap in the middle. But over all pretty good, the should guard do look off though

Apparently this is the real deal. Looks pretty cool.

I really like it now, it looks damn good there. But it still needs that red stripe in the middle, other than that I think it's prefect. Maybe not the best WWII, but perfect for Avengers.

I think this makes a world of difference
