It is good. So was Daredevil Yellow and Hulk Gray. They have some of the Loeb writing quirks but it's not Ultimates 3 or Ultimatum, if that's what you're expecting.

I just looked it up. That is....incredibly disturbing.
Has anything been said about the weekly schedule? They're already approaching issue #600 and if they keep it up they could overtake a few other series in total issues. Just wondering if it was said (or assumed) that is the only reason they are going weekly...

They have not said anything about the schedule.
My guess for the thrice weekly was because there were fans who enjoyed the other two Spidey books that were always out and got used to it, and so they did this to keep Spider-Man fans interested.

I was thinking more cynically that they might be going after Superman and Action Comics.
I gave up and am tradewaiting. The quality of the arcs is a lot more glaring doing that but it's easier.
