Don't worry; I'm fairly confident that that's only an actress, pretending to be Aunt May.

**** Civil War and being realistic and insurance and how logically, superhero fights would have dozens of casualties.

I just want him to throw a truck at someone every issue.

wouldn't be the first time...

Um...yeah...that was the point.

Totally seriously. That's how it would be if I were a writer at marvel.

And there would be more dead Ultimate Mary Jane. But that's another topic.

 To both items, though mostly the first and only slightly the second

Hey, maybe that's why so many heroes' supporting casts die--so they can be ****ing badass and throw cars at people. Hey, Spider-Man even gets double the badass car-throwing because his cast keeps coming back to life!

He should throw something at someone every issue. A car here, a decorative vase there...by the end, writers won't know what to do. So he'll start throwing hookers at villains. And that's when ASM REALLY starts being a good book.

The plan is flawless.

It's got to be a priceless decorative vase that's hundreds, if not thousands, of years old. Having it contain a genie would be icing on the cake.

And hookers with herpes - zombie herpes - so the villains don't just have bruises. THEY'RE INFECTED. Having them contain genies in their snatches would be icing.

oooh! And he should only fight Pirates from now on! Pirates that are vampires.

If he threw a hooker with zombie herpes at a vampire pirate in a comic...I'd geekasm all over it.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

I highly doubt that this Aunt May will turn out to be an actress.

And links can work just as fine to previews, too.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

I'm sure that 56k users would prefer it actually.
No one cares about those savages who can't afford broadband.

I'd say a link is preferred because scrolling through twenty pages of pictures everytime you open a page is annoying.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

i couldnt find an image of it online sorry but im referring to the cover of issue 537 where spidey is on the cover with cap and punisher. now, the punisher has a ****ing minigun! cap was quick to jump on frank when he wasted those 2 idiots during civil war but it seems on this cover he really isnt fussed about franks choice of weapon here. seems like a kinda "i sweeyar i wull not kell eneewon" thing like terminator. i knew punisher was a good shot but i didnt know he was that good. this cover makes no sense.

and punisher isnt even in it!

I have a question about Spider-Man in general, not just ASM, but I figured this is the best place to put general questions because it's his first, main title: Has Spider-Man ever dealt with class issues? I don't mean Spider-Man the comic, I mean Spider-Man the person. Not just a very special issue with a homeless kid or Peter getting kicked out of his apartment again, but him getting pissed off at rich people or something.

His best friend having been the very rich Harry Osborn, i'm going to say no.

This has happened in the early JMS issues - just after Morlun Spider-Man met a bunch of homeless kids and fought a guy who preyed on them.

I'm sure it's been done a couple of times, but class issues isn't a big thing in America really. Not compared to England, say.
