Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

I mean obviously they're not gonna draw an exact bullet wound or anything like that....but it's implied that it's spread like that due to her touching it.

I imagine that once hit she'd grab the area to brace herself. Then kneel to the floor. Once on the floor her right hand would touch the ground in order to support herself.

The left hand would still be clutching the wound only letting go in order to "see to believe". A large portion of the blood would be on her left hand thus when she pulls that hand away from the wound you get the drop or 2 on the ground. Same as the small stain on her fishnet stockings (can you usay old whore? ).

I thought about that too much. Same as that bank heist.

The Heist never really came to fruition.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

I hope this is the last time Aunt May dies. She'll be around in USM for long enough, 616 Spidey didn't need her around anymore... for the last 15 years.

Kill off MJ and maybe we can finally get some FRESH stories from a Spider-Man book. I've been tired of the whole "I've got to save these people from a huge disaster... but OH NOES! AUNT MAY! MARY JANE! NOOOO!"

BRAVO!

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

Wait, she's still alive in that picture? Why doesn't Peter just grab her and swing to a hospital? :?

Also, I'm guessing Spider-Man's not in the black costume yet. But
at the end of Civil War, he appears with it on
and in New Avengers he seems pretty happy, so what's going on?

Is it the symboite? or just a black costume like debate people were having?

Pretty sure it's just the black costume at this point in time.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

I really wanted MJ to bite the dust. I could care less about Aunt May.

I'd love to have the black suit actually be a symbiote that he bonds with, but I know it's not going to happen.

Ah thanks. I was kind of hoping they god rid of that god awful scorpion venom gave peter the venom one and then somehow in time for third movie it leaves peter for eddie again creating the real venom.

Shouldn't aunt may of died of old age by now anyway?

This could be a red herring. It could just be a superficial wound, or one she will recover from.

I mean, she's not a total weakling if she can wear an Iron Man costume to Latveria to battle Doombots.

:x

Totally. I mean, they brought her back like what? 4 times?

WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU BRING THIS UP AGAIN?!!?

We must never forget what we have suffered through, for it makes us stronger.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

This issue probably had one of my all time favorite lines. It's probably been used before, but it was still awesome.

"But in the end, I suppose all that really matters is that they understand. That they know. Because without Aunt May, without MJ, I wouldn't have anything worth fighting for. Only things worth dying for."

Re: Amazing Spider-Man series discussion (spoilers)

This issue pissed me off. First of all, if May wasn't killed immediately, then she'll ultimately (pardon the expression) be fine. And I swear that sniper's order's from Kingpin changed between the last issue and this one. His orders, as i understood, last issue were to go to the hotel and kill whomever he found there. Now in this issue his orders are to wait and see what happens to spidey before doing anything? So the whole issue he's just taking aim a million times for practice? Cheap.

You didn't see it that way in the USM thread...

You people.

Every time I see that this thread has been posted in a part of me dies and I hate myself for starting this site.

Can we just pretend this book doesn't exist anymore?

That's it - I'm burning all my comics and shutting down the site.
