I don't get why there's all these characters in the movie, either. The only ones that truly make sense are Maverick & Deadpool because they were on the Weapon X team with Logan & Creed.

It'll probably just be a fun cameo by a much younger version of Scott.

I'm disappointed that I didn't see this footage at the con.

But I did Youtube it and it looks decent.

Moreover, there's a spoiler about Stan Lee's cameo in the film.

I have no idea who the Cuckoos are. Should I be excited?

In other news, just how anticipated is this movie? I was watching the pirated trailer, and the audience was cheering every other scene. Is this supposed to be the most anticipated movie after The Dark Knight, or am I just missing something?

Wolverine is arguably the most popular comic book character in the world.


The Cuckoos were a Grant Morrison creation when he was doing New X-Men (not the New Mutants ripoff). They're quintuplets, who work as a psychic hub/hive mind. During his run, then in the Endsong/Warsong minis, it's revealed that they are Weapon XIV, created by Weapon Plus, using Emma Frost's DNA as a template, the organization responsible for Wolverine, Sabretooth, Deadpool and Captain America.

Man I'm really dissapointed Fantomex isn't in this one as opposed to some of the other choices (I mean Beak, really!). He was by far one of the best parts of Morrison's run on X-Men.

I think it looks alright. I don't really like how Sabretooth looks, but that's just me. I'll be seeing it no matter what, mostly due to Gambit. I'll reserve judgement until I have seen more of it.

And right out of the comics. Except instead of 'Sabes, it was Mystique (as shown in the "Get Mystique" arc by Jason Aaron).
