Who Am I? game (Ultimate Marvel)

Well, it was Mojo, but considering Watcher chose two and didn't confirm who he was choosing, it's DSF's turn.

Ah, crud! I was just going to change it to Mojo. Oh, well. Give us youre best shot DSF.

Is it safe to assume DSF has forfeited his turn? It's been well over a week since the last post on this thread.

If so, I'd like to pick the next character:

* I'm a baseline human being.
* My full name has never been revealed.
* I have a costumed alter-ego.
* I do not have any immediate connections to either SHIELD or the Weapon X program.
* I have never encountered Spider-Man or Iron Man on panel.

Hank, from Ultimate Adventures?

I can't remember if they ever reveal his last name. If this is the case, he fits all your criteria.

I'm fairly certain that Woody's real name was stated as Hank Kipple, in the very first issue, I think. If it wasn't disclosed to the characters in the story, it was definitely mentioned to readers, either through recaps or solicitations.

A well-informed guess, but not the character I had in mind. Sorry!

You can remember the full name? I had to crack the book open just to verify his first name!

You sir are a bigger geek than I.

LOL! It's mentioned in the First Appearances thread on this site.

But I have a very inexplicable affection for that mini-series in general, despite its throwaway nature and glaring flaws, so I remembered it anyway.

Next Guess :

Poindexter?

I don't know that I would say he has a costumed identity but...

I haven't read either UDd&E or Ultimate Elektra, so I'll concede that you MAY be right. But he's still not the character I picked.

Bullseye?

Does that even fit the criteria? And does their full name have to have not been revealed in just the UU or does this apply to 616 also? If it is both, then this would be a UU only character right?

Hmmm, costumes.

That was who E.Vi.L meant when he guessed Pointdexter, yes? See my response to him above.

It applies to the UU only. This will probably count as an extra clue, but I'm not even sure whether the 616 version of this character has the same civilian alias.

Ah, see, I didn't even remember that his name was Pointdexter. At least not consciously.

Hmm, well I just can't think of anyone. If they have a costumed alter-ego, then they must first have a regular way of dressing too.
I suppose Nighthawk counts as having immediate SHIELD connections.

Plus he said that this character exists in 616. Wait, you meant Hawk-owl?

EDIT : Ah, no, the defenders idiot. Not bad, any of these guy could work except Son of Satan (SHIELD mole).

Patsy Walker = Hellcat so It can't be her

Yeah, but the SHIELD mole could well be an immediate SHIELD connection in itself.

I was thinking Arcade too, but does that count as a costumed alter-ego? I think probably not.

It is an immediate connection. That's why I wrote anyone except Son of Satan. And Hellcat because her full name is revealed.

Any of the others can work excpet for the fact that we don't know any part of their name so if you go by the letter of what Coumpound wrote we should now at least part of his real name.

That would disqualify Arcade too, no? Do we know part of his real name?

I'm just gonna put this round out of its misery, because we're already getting into too many semantics and technicalities now.

Guij has a point when he says that the presence of a mole on the Defenders alone is enough to qualify as a "direct" connection to SHIELD for *all* the members -- even if they are not aware of it. I would have called that an "indirect" connection, precisely because they're so clueless about it, but I understand why somebody would qualify it otherwise.

Eventually, somobody would have remembered that Pym referred to Valkyrie as "Barbara" when he spoke with Janet in either #7 or #8, and that would be it. (See the First Appearances thread for verification.)

Next round goes to either Guij or E.Vi.L. -- whoever successfully posts a set of clues first :D

Oh, and it's so obvious -- Arcade's real name is John Romero ;)
