Hi, new here but just wanted to share my theory. On the last page, i noticed that the 4 scenes with the gun are drawn alternatly from opposite sides of the gun, meaning the gun is facing the other way in each shot. That could maybe imply that we are seeing 2 different guns, one obviously being held by the traitor but perhaps the second being held by someone else, who fires the 3 shots at the traitor.
Just an idea, can't believe Millar would kill off Hawkeye, not sure why I just can't see it.
One last thing, the fact that the gun fires 3 shots, it may be nothing but to me, if it was the traitor shooting Hawkeye in the head, it would be one clear shot in the head, as brutal as it sounds, rather than 3 from point blank range, its just not as clean cut. Anyone agree?

No!

(what is it?)

Anyhow, I'm not talking to you anymore. You like Harry Potter. Same goes for Slimjim and Ultimatedjf.

It's another [adult swim] show (like Aqua Teens) about former superhero and Hanna Barbera cartoon character Birdman working for a lawfirm. He represents Hanna Barbera characters (like when Fred Flintstone is hit on the head with a bowling ball and believes he's a Tony Saprano-esque mob boss, or when Shaggy and Scoobie are busted for Marijuanna posession or when the Super Friends' Apache Chief spills hot coffee in his lap and loses his ability to "grow large"). My avatar is Peter Potamus. His catch phrase (which he says to someone during just about every one of his appearences) is "Ya get that thing I sent ya?" The new season of the show just began last night.

And that supposed to be a bad thing?

Books are a fad and for retards. Go get an education and read some comix l0zr.

Is this why I have no friends?

No. It's their fault.

Truly, AdultSwim is the place to live in. I must see more of these shows.

Birdman's great. There's also a scientist who's obsessed with shrinking things, a mindreading supervillain judge, a mysterious bear, and an eyepatch wearing boss who's just..............weird ("If we win this case I can finally buy that beach house in Cabo. I'll run around naked all day. Hahaaaaa..........dangly parts").

 If you remember, books used to be a fad, but they recently came back in style. Reading is now totally hip and retro.

Back on topic, now. Take the HP talk to the HP thread.

But, discussing things in their proper threads just isn't as fun.

This is from a poster at Millarworld. I think this is another good theory.

My thought is that Wanda really did come back for her purse now, so the gun just isn't hitting anything.

Oh ye of short memory, I said that on the second page of this thread, while I was grasping at straws for reasons that Hawkeye isn't dead (that didn;t involve cake, thanks, Bass). I did put it in spoiler text, though, because at the time the majority of the people in the thread hand't read the issue...

Ooo, sorry. :(

More thoughts on Hawkeye and his fate -

I'm sort of torn over what I hope the character's outcome is. Dead is not a very pleasant thing to be, but neither is living, knowing that your choice of high-status, high-profile job put your family in more danger than you could forsee and you pretty much failed to protect them. If he'd stayed regular old SHIELD, his family would still be alive. I doubt he's likely to forget that fact.

wow. that wanda thing is so-liiiid.

(Everybody get in here!)

The wanda thing is nothing. Everybody could have thought that and it might be what millar does to get outta that situation.
