GOT IT! All right....

Captain in Mid East again... cool. Wanda finally does something and I think it was cool how they showed she was afraid to use her powers... kind of makes up for all the "Why doesn't Wanda do anything" rants.

Jan and Hank meeting... happy about it. I just hope Jan's not the traitor and I wonder just how tied in Hank is to the traitor. Defenders disassembled? I didn't like that issue or team anyway. Jan could be the traitor and was putting on the display to fool the feds or whoever listening in.

Thor and Tony talk... "Hey, I'm Thor! I'm an awesome character but I'm also a huge hippie and a tool for Millar to bash America's actions" We know how I feel about this so politics aside I thought it was very cool when he was warning Tony about the traitor. I think Tony's going to be the center of a political attack from other countries.

Final scene.... WTF is this comic rated!? Wow that was good stuff. I could've cried. I really hope Hawkeye bites it here. It was just be more meaningful if he does. Craziness and made the issue really worth it!!

Still hopeing Black Widow's the traitor....

Before the chang was PSR, not ALL TEEN as the other Ultimate books are.

How? I keep asking anyone who thinks her (not just on this board). She's an ex-Russian spy super agent. Why would she believe in America in the first place? By the way it sounded from the traitor, it sounds like someone who has pledge alliegance to the country, and now it isnt that country that the traitor believed in. BW doesnt seem to fit that type of profile.

That was a speech given by the traitor to gain the trust of someone else. I'm sure the traitor only cares about himself/herself.

I hope it's her but I'm not ruleing ANYONE out xept Hawkeye. I'll still be pissed if it's Cap.

Looking at the vote tally, I have one question.

How easily pleased are the members of Ultimate Central?

I voted 4 stars. The issue was pretty freakin' good, but not great. UFF #21 was a great issue. U2 #5 was a great issue. U2 #8 will probably be a great issue, but since we didn't have the actual reveal of the traitor, this was only a good issue.

Than you're smokin' somethin'. Yes, UFF was great, though thats another point, this issue was great. One hell of a way to start the arc. That ending is what made it solid gold. Millar, with the golden touch.

This was a great way to kick things off but I think that each issue will be better than the last. This was probably nothing compared to what's to come.

And for your information I am smoking crack, but that has nothing to do with my opinions on this series. Unless I start saying its Betty Ross. Then you'll know I'm on something.

Naming the traitor in issue 7 would be giving a conclusion before the mystery got started.

Patience grasshopper, the set up of the traitor in this episode's conclusion was far stronger than a final page unmasking scene.

Right, but that doesn't mean this issue can't be great, though.

Yeah, the greatness of UFF #21 or any other comic for that matter shouldn't have any bearing on how great Ults 2 #7 is. It's not a contest.

The only thing that let me down in this issue was the fact that we didn't find out who the traitor was. I still think that it was a great issue I just got my hopes up that we would find out who the traitor was.

I just thought of the weirdest idea for who the traitor is. The traitor is an alternate personality of Hank that was a telepathicly inserted in him by the faction that Loki is working with. The traitor we saw was a mental projection of that personality trying to persuade Hank. Kind of like the blond chick in Battlestar Galactica. I would be pretty pissed if this turned out to be the case, but I've seen stranger explanations.

The idea I had for how keep Hawkeye alive is have the traitor not lethally shoot Hawkeye, then have Hawkeye pretend that he doesn't know who the traitor is. Thus implying that he has a connection with the traitor that isn't revealed until it's too late...

Squirrely NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

sorry. i just was responding to my favorite character in the Ultimate Universe dying. I love how all the a-hole characters (Cap, the Pyms, Fury, Wolverine, Cyclops) get to survive and prosper, while all the cool guys (Thor, Hawkeye, Beast, Iceman) get the crap beaten out of them, or shot in the face, or a ton of bricks dropped on them. Though I suppose, in Beast's case, that's Bendis' fault, not Millar's. still. fudge you, you sodding scotsman!

Don't worry my friend. They'll all have cake, and blam Alan McTraitor. Tis true.

Also, Moonmaster is now a were-hippo.
