Ultimate Power #6 Spoilers/Discussions
Well I guess since no one else is going to, I'll do it...
It starts off with the battle between both worlds. Everyone pairs off and starts fighting. Meanwhile Dr. Richards tries to convince Dr. Bubank to let him put a stop to the fight. Reed breaks out of his restraints and Dr. Bubank gasses him, knocking him out. The Scarlet Witch explains to Fury she not sure if she should fight the member of the Supreme squad because her magic is different and may do some damage to this world. Fury says, it's not my world. Now get out there. Your teammates need you. She leaves and Fury asks his crew if they got an eye on everyone. They say everyone but Spider-Man. Fury tells them to wait for the tipping point. Fury puts his guns and other gear on. Fury goes in another room and talks to someone in the shadows. Fury: I'm going in. Mystery guest: And what is it you hope to accomplish? Fury: Slip in quiet, get the probes while everybody's looking at the biggest storm of the centry, and run like hell. Mystery guest: And then...? What of the rescuers? Fury: Obviously, we'll save as may of them as we can. But there may be some cases where we'll have to-- --compromise. There are piorites. We have to stick to them. Mystery guest: I agree. Fury is attacked. Mystery guest: Unfortunately, you have never been a priority. Fury: Son of a-- Fury shots and says, You can't do this! This wasn't the plan! Fury is attacked again and knocked out. Mystery Guest: Yes, I can. And yes, it was. The fight continues out side we see everyone getting knocked out. Doctor Spectrum save those who he can on his team and then Ben get hit hard. He says, ...can't be... can't be....you... Back inside the helicarrier, Spidey wakes up Fury. Nick fires. Spidey webs his gun away and says, I knew there was something going on. I could feel it. And it had everyting to do with you. Fury says, Let me go. Spidey: So I stuck around instead of going wher you wanted me to go and--, Fury: let me go.. before everybody on this mission is killed. they run to the helm of the ship. Fury: He can't be allowed to get his hands on the probes. If he does-- Spidey: He Who? Pronouns can be fun, but nouns are better ...and names can be even more fun, so why not-- Agent: Sir! We've got somthing... someone on the scanners... it's not possible, but-- Fury: Show me. Spidey: Show us both. I can keep a secret. Right up until I put it on my blog, and then-- Fury: No. Agent Oh, no.. Spidey: You have got to be kidding me. We are so srewed. Out side we see our mystery guest.... Doom is back... and says, Yes. Very nice. A new universe... a new world to conquer. A new Tomorrow. A new Doom.
Better than it has been, not great but better. Liked the surpise ending.
