Scroll to the bottom.

Wolverine leaves during UXM #69 but X4 must take place in the future but was released early dur to it's short 2 issue format.

Actually, thats wrong because:

That is completely wrong.

First of all, Wiki can be edited by anyone. So someone with incorrect information did that.

Ultimate X4 does NOT take place before UWvsH becauase the 2-issue mini takes place AFTER "Magnetic North" and before "Date Night" as D!B has said. Don't trust what's said on Wiki. Look at the actual comic. It's all there.

Thank you, Ice. Its nice having others explain stuff every once in awhile. Its a nice break. ;)

Good to know. I have another question. Does Wolvie vs Hulk take place before or during ultimates 2 vol 2. Please tell me it won't be Hulk-less.

Ice said:
Since it takes place after UXM #69, and UXM takes place during Ultimates 2, UWvsH takes place during Ultimates 2.

Right. UWvs.H takes place primarily in between volumes 1 (#1-6) and 2 (#7-13) of Ultimates 2. There's a large time jump of a couple months in between #5 and #7, so it most likely occurs there.

Hulk won't come and save the day? Dang!! Who is gonna fight the abomination?

Hulk will be there. Do you really expect either Hulk or Wolverine to die in this mini? No way. Wolverine and Hulk will throw down, then Hulk will make it back in time to show up for the end of Ultimates 2 (supposedly he re-appears in Ultimates 2 #11, which is out today).

Specially since he's on the cover to #12 with all the other heroes and the solit stating "the whole ultimate u. would be there". Unlike 616, this can actually happen!

Exactly. And good point (I can't imagine the scope of a story involving every 616 character...I think the closest is the Earth X trilogy, and even that wasn't anywhere near all of them).

Hey I'm kinda new here and I was just wondering:

What does Supreme Power and Doctor Spectrum have to do with the Ultimate Universe? Just curious.

They're going to crossover with the Ultimate Universe at the end of the year in a 9 issue mini-series called Ultimate Power, written by Loeb, Bendis, and JMS, and drawn by Greg Land.

Ah thanks.

So now I guess I gotta read all these Supreme Powers and Doctor Spectrums...

Well, you don't have to, but it might give you a better understanding of the Supreme Power/Squadron Supreme characters. Besides, the Ultimate Power mini is supposed to have lasting effects, including some Ultimate characters getting stuck in the Supreme-verse and some Squadron Supreme characters stuck in the Ultimate universe. We'll see how that actually works.

As for why its included in the timeline, with the crossover news its apparent that Supreme Power takes place on an alternate reality Earth, much like the N-Zone (from UFF), Zombie-Earth (from Marvel Zombies), etc. Its just another part of the Ultimate multi-verse. To denote they take place in alternate realities, they're marked in italics (as is anything which doesn't take place in the Ultimate reality). I'm overly organized, what can I say?

I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I noticed something. In UFF #5 and Professor Storm tells Johnny to let the Ultimates handle the giant sea monster. At that point in time the ultimates have not appeared. Is that a problem with your timeline or with continuity?

Exactly. Chalk it up to a continuity screw-up on Bendis' (mainly) and Millar's part. This is mainly a continuity goof because Millar confirms the existence of the Ultimate FF in Ultimates #2 (the first series, not Ultimates 2) when Fury is discussing potential team members with Banner.

There's no way both can be correct (since the Ultimates are mentioned in UFF very soon after Reed and company got their powers, and the FF are mentioned in the Ultimates before the team has even formed). One had to come first, and given the other continuity issues, having the first twelve UFF issues take place early on makes the most sense.

Besides, Millar has somewhat confirmed my timeline in the President Thor arc, when its confirmed the teleportation accident occurred two years prior to that arc. Since Ultimates 2 occurs a year after the first volume, this also proves the UFF had to come first (at least in Millar's mind...and since he is writing the series, he does get say on whats canon).

So there you have it.

Its got to be said ..........
this is the first i've seen this and it is top notch !!
Many times ive tried to wrap my brain around continuity but no longer
Cheers !!!

Wasn't the reason of Wolverine's absence in the Deadpool arc confirmed in Magical as the events of Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk? His conversation with Kitty proves it. Another hint is that the X-Jet was destroyed after Magnetic North, and the Shi'ar were the ones who provided their replacement (in the Phoenix? arc), which was shown in Deadpool. The Deadpool arc has to occur between Phoenix? and Magical.
