Ultimate Central: The Fanfic - volume 6

Really? I'm cool with laying low for a while. You are the master writer though. Just make sure I get my fight with The Watcher.

You get a big role in the finale.

Iceman should turn out to be Ice's Nobody, and Iceshadow should be Ice's Heartless...

Then all we need is a boy with a dog, a duck, and a key, and we're on our way...

Good issue though, I caught the Greek references, *is a greek myth geek as much as a judeo-christian myth geek*

yeah...

*dances*

Fifty better be out soon.

Ultimate Gambit: "Fifty-foot of rope."

The Avatars look perplexed at Ultimate Gambit.

Ultimate Gambit: "MWOF and Bigby were talking about Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons. I listened.".
You always bring 50 feet of rope. And a grapling hook.

And for the love of god crush the skull of every corpse and skeleton you find. It's just good practice.

Inside the mesa is the cold sterilized calm of fluorescent buzzing. So similar a stronghold. Much cooler too, to Nurhachi's delight. Also, the mesa, inside, is no longer a deadzone, and their transporters work. But without a knowledge of the layout, the continue to stride. The duo come to a fork in the corridors.

I don't think that works. A dead zone primarily occurs due to lack of support equipment (trasmitting towers and whatnot) or what we've come to concider standard electromagnetic levels in the air. Now Electronics still work inside them ,but as you've got nothing to work with the just hum and maybe flash a pretty light. If the lack of proper suroundings is what was keeping the teleporters from working then the signal would still have to go through the dead zone in order for them to teleport out, making a connection impossible short of some kind of landline.

Of course i could be wrong.

As ProjectX2 keeps running and leaping to avoid Baxter's hands, and trying to hurt Baxter as best as he can, ProjectX2 can't help but wonder who Baxter is working for. The last time he met Baxter, he was working for Ultimate E, but Ultimate E was picked up again by Bass Lak Tus as his herald. ProjectX2 isn't aware that Ultimate E has returned to Earth, and if he has, would Baxter know about it? And Baxter was left in Africa – what's he doing in Arizona? But all these questions made ProjectX2 run when he should've jumped.

BAM.
Hell yes.

Ultimate Scarlet Witch: "D, this is Lithium. He's the one who made that pill you so love."
You know I'm kicking myself for not seeing that coming.

Dr Draco: "You're lying."
Nurhachi: "Of course I'm lying down. I'm tired."
Dr Draco: "You're lying."
Nurhachi: "But, I'm the good guy, remember?"
Dr Draco: "Yes. Always the good guy."
Nurhachi: "Right. Good guys don't lie. So if I say you never hit me, then you never hit me."
Dr Draco: "This isn't happening."
Nurhachi: "It's already happened. Can't you tell?"
Dr Draco: "Of course. What's happened is happening now and happening again. But it's happened already."
Nurhachi: "No, you've got it the wrong way round."
Dr Draco: "I think something's not supposed to be here."
Nurhachi: "That's right me. You said so in a minute, remember?"
Dr Draco: "… Yes."
Nurhachi: "Can I have my hammer, back?"
Dr Draco: "Certainly."
Duck season! Wabbit Season! Duck Season! Wabbit Season! Rabbit Season! Duck Season! FIRE!

Wizard did it.

Actually, I didn't give much thought to how deadzone's work, so you're probably right. All I thought was that E would want a base the Avatars can't transport into, and that he would have a field surrounding his base that the Avatars would think is a deadzone. I didn't give it much thought to be honest, so I don't know if it is a deadzone or not. It's definately a plotzone, though. :)

That is was Lithium, or that DIrishB had been taking Helios?

Actually - that would be the entropy sphere... :?

Thanks guys for the comments. :)

I'm really not too much into Greek mythology, just be glad I picked up on the obvious ones.

Eh, you picked up on most of them. There's a few people haven't mentioned.

Actually, I have to agree with Baxtar and you, it seemed like he had a combination of luck and time.

I was trying to guess whom the fourth member was of Ourchair, Compound, Ultimate Bigby's group.

Though, that may be the big *** red star.

Entropy can't control time, but affect the decay rate, the entropy, of objects and possibilities. He doesn't halt time on the watch (otherwise it wouldn't keep ticking), but just prevents it from decaying. A semantic difference, I suppose.

I think your stretching it with that definition, but hey, it's your centralization, your call.

Not going to argue you on the point

And the next issue should rock, when it comes out in 2008

I had an idea for it, and called it "Thrice" which I thought was great.

As for #50 - it's coming along nicely. Should rock everyone's socks off. I'm quite happy at the lack of hype to be honest. Let's me just do the issue properly, with what little time I can give to it.

Can't wait!

I'd post a solicit, but I'm not sure what to do for it just yet. I've got a couple ideas, but I don't want to give too much away in the solicit. So I'm hoping to give you the solicit this weekend.

Also, if you're wondering why this is taking so long - the synopsis for #50 was 5 private messages long, which is about as long as most of my issues.

The synopsis.

It's a long read. So be sure to take a break here and there, or at least have some cocoa next to you when you read it.

Thanks for your patience and support. :D

I'm having trouble with the solicit. I'm not sure how much to give away. :? :(

Bass, you're a punk, let me write the solict, and see how close I get....

Ultimate Central the Fanfic issue 50, not even writing it, but here's solict because Bass is a pansy, and can't write it himself...

Issue 50!

After a rollercoaster series of events, the Avatars have become the world's greatest heroes, to the worlds most hated ones. Why should they still fight, why should they bother? Because, they are heroes after all, that's why? But in the face of the newest disaster, will this be enough?

Manwithoutfear, a former Avatar, now a wanderer, is in Alaska with Ultimate Houde, searching for Houde's girlfriend. What do these two find in Alaska, and how does it pertain to the Red Star?

Ourchair, Compound and Ultimate Bigby are up to something, supposingly to save the world. Once the fourth member of there group makes their prescene known, will the world actually be saved, or are they up to something more sinister?

From the writer everyone hails as 'Is a punk and takes his own damn time' comes the final issue of his run, THE END!

DUN DUN!!!!!!!

Pandrio runs away with a keyboard.
