Watcher: "Ah. So this is what you do with your spare time."
Iceman: "It's better than ribbing Houde."
Watcher: "I don't know what you're talking about."
Iceman: "You're always going on about him. Seriously, if this were kindergarten, you'd be pulling his hair and calling him 'fatty'."
Watcher: "… But I already did that."
Iceman: "Oh, that's sweet. When are you two getting married?"
Watcher: "Next week."
Iceman: "… Touche."
 So true, so true.

Just Normal Typical Space Debris, Home of Bass Lak Tus

In his five-pointed, brightly bleached white starship, Bass Lak Tus, devourer and nexus of worlds, and his two heralds, Ultimate Galactus and the powerful penguin principal Pandrio, a trio of terror that lay waste to the galaxy - are sitting watching cable tv… that they stole from the Brotherhood.

Bass Lak Tus: "WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY TRAVELLED ACROSS BOTH SPACE AND TIME THROUGH THE FARGATE! … TO GET FREE CABLE!"
Pandrio: "I think it's a Stargate…"
Bass Lak Tus: "IT'S THE FARGATE! 'F'! IT'S DIFFERENT FROM THAT MOVIE WHICH I HAVE NEVER SEEN, SO HOW CAN I COPY IT?"
Pandrio: "That's cool."
Bass Lak Tus: "I just want to make clear that it's the Fargate. Goes far, get it? AND THERE IS NO WAY IT CAME FROM THAT MOVIE, OR THAT SYNDICATED SERIES BASED ON THE MOVIE!"
Ultimate Galactus: "It was a good movie though."
Bass Lak Tus: "Ya, yes it was."

Suddenly, Curly and Thee Great One appear in front of Bass Lak Tus and his heralds.

Bwang, Twang, Bwang, Bwang-wa-wang.
BASSCATAZ.
 ATHF!
Great issue as always.

I sometimes amaze myself.

Houde just pm'd me asking where #49 is.

The answer is - it has been ready for weeks, since I already wrote it while I was in Beirut.

So... why hasn't it been uploaded?

This week (in fact, the last 9 days it would appear) has gone SO quickly, I honestly hadn't realised that it had been over a week since I uploaded #48. I lost complete track of time.

Stupid, stupid, Bass.

So, I'm e-mailing the issue to Nurhachi today, so I can upload it tonight or tomorrow depending on when he gets back to me.

I'm so retarded sometimes. :?

Sure.

It opens with Moonmaster who's doing a kind of "The Question" investigation into the Great Golden Bowl corporation. He's set upon by unknown assailants, but passes off the only piece of information he's got to the Avatars, who have a large team fight against a new team of supervillains that has been obliquely mentioned in three prior issues, but has yet to debut or be named. In fact, if you wanted to really waste some time, you could work out precisely who the members of the team are as I've mentioned them all (though not in the actual issues).

THE MOONMASTER PWNS
AGAIN.

Nurhachi hasn't sent me approval. Either he hasn't read it yet, or he hasn't got it yet. Nothing I can do about it. :(
