How would you rate Thor?

Yeah but that may also be difficult to pull off, because many fans of Thor want to see Asgard and 616 aspects of his mythology. With Ultimate Thor you have to wait until the end of the movie to really show that side of the mythology to keep the integrity of the mystery. In the Ultimates the other heroes create enough storyline/villains/plot to drive the story so you don't have to face his 616-based mythology until you want to. For a Thor movie you need to focus on his story area which is Asgard. I can't really picture how an Ultimate Thor movie would actually go, what the plot would be or who the villain could be without giving away the mystery.

So I think Ultimate Thor can only really in a movie if he's on a Team rather than solo.
 
I think we'll get a taste of the Ultimate Thor stuff when he's in that SHIELD hospital facility.

they may play off all the flashbacks as being his delusions or whatnot.

EDIT: the official thor movie website includes a flash intro of Mjölner landing on earth.

I'm with the boycotters. Idris Elba is too damn talented to play a bit part in the movie. Heimdall just guards the rainbow bridge. So of course he gets blacked up because he is essentially the door man.

I'm with the boycotters. THOR is racist.
 
Obviously they haven't learned to never mess with Stringer Bell.

I think you guys should know that Idris Elba's character, Heimdall, is also known as the "white god" in Norse mythology. So...it is kind of bizarre that of all the characters Idris Elba could be playing, it's the guy with that name.
 
He should be Thor.

And Hugo Strange.

Um, those guys are White Supremist, i don't think it's that detail that they're acting crazy about.

I still think Idris will do a great job anyway.

but i have to admit that the idea of black and asian viking gods doesn't make much sense.
 
I don't doubt Elba's acting skills, I think he'll do fine. Whatever reason those extremists have for thinking Idris Elba shouldn't play Heimdall, I'm still just pointing out the fact that Heimdall is the "white god" and it's kind of funny that the only black guy in the movie is playing the character who's explicitly described as being "white." It's right there in his title. I mean, I was overjoyed when I found out that Sam Jackson agreed to play Nick Fury.
