So let me get this straight, he writes HAwk and Dove, which gets canceled, so they put him on three more books?
Gotcha. I will check that out; sounds interesting.
Also,
Rob Liefeld to write Deathstroke, Savage Hawkman, & Grifter.
That does not sound interesting and I will not check them out.

Yeah, i'm dropping Grifter and Deathstroke. Which is a shame because I was enjoying Deathstroke. Grifter.... yeah, not so much.
Sterling Gates dropped after three or four issues and Liefield took over. No idea why.
bluebeast said:So I'm loving Scott Snyder's Batman (this, Justice League and Action are the only ones I'm completely up to date on) and the Council of Owls is a great new antagonist but reading the maze bits in #5 on digital was annoying as hell. Comixology needs to add a rotate button pronto.
Did you try the assisted reading feature? I haven't seen the issue digitally but I would assume that would help.

Man, JH Williams III is absolutely killing on Batwoman. The artistry on the book is almost as good as Promethea. No one can put a comic page (or spread) together like he can.
I adore Mr Williams, and Batwoman, but I'll admit, issue 4 made my stomach turn, and made me feel restless and uncomfortable. What's worse, I didn't have my "meh whatever" response when violence is gratuitous, it was that I was truly effected by what happened to Bette.
It was gut wrenching for me too, but I think that was the intended effect.
It didn't seem gratuitous.
I am surprised you could make that out. I was half asleep when I posted that. No, it did not feel gratuitous at all, it was near perfect storytelling in my opinion, interspersing the beauty of Kate's love scene with the violence of what was happening to Bette.
Do you guys like Suicide Squad? Its been ok but I liked the twist with Harley Quinn getting the whole team killed last issue.
Zombipanda said:Oh. I thought you were complaining about it.
Yeah. It kind of broke my heart, and the follow through with the DEO was just brilliant. This is how you use violence as an effective storytelling technique.
