Now that Ledger won his Oscar, do we know if we'll be getting a re-release of THE DARK KNIGHT with extras on how the film was made as opposed to the whole, "this is the film's marketing campagin" stuff? Where's my deleted scenes and how the whole damn thing was made? They won a SOUND EDITING oscar! I want a little featurette on how they made the score!

Batman-on-Film reports that when "Nolan came to an agreement to helm Inception for Warner Bros., there is at least some sort of understanding between him and the studio that he'll do a third Batman -- though his reps won't confirm or deny it."

In case Nolan decides to pass on directing Batman 3 -- we already know he's working on the script for it -- then BoF claims that Warners "might" have considered its Watchmen and 300 director Zack Snyder as a possible replacement or as a successor once Nolan completes his trilogy.

It's good they have a back up plan. I hope Nolan does return though.

The "Inception" movie they speak of in that article, I assume thats Nolan's next planned project?

If so, glad he's taking the route of making another movie or two before a third Batman.

Yeah, it's a sci-fi action movie he's working on. I posted about it in the all about movies thread.

Tinyhead is tiny.

Option A : He has a face you know.

Option B : Now we know why the Batmobile is so long

Option C : He's the ******* batman. His head's not small he just alters the perception of the weak minded so they think It's tiny. Why? because when he's not beating up the mentally handicapped , psychologically damaging the minds of children or just dressing in tight black pvc, he has to get his jollies someway.

pick one :p:lol:

How would Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy work in Chris Nolan's Batman universe?

Honestly, I don't think they would. Ivy would only really work as a terrorist, the controlling plants bit would never work. Freeze is far too sci-fi for Nolan.

Poison Ivy could use bio-chemical warfare to terrorize and destroy Gotham, and the bio-chemicals are based off of plants.

Mr Freeze would be someone who's had his skin burnt off by liquid nitrogen or something. He has to stay in the 'suit' to keep the necrogenesis of his skin at bay. And his plan can be environmental in nature; messing with the jet streams to turn Gotham into an uninhabitable frozen wasteland.

Personally, I think Poison Ivy is too close to Ra's Al Ghul, and Mr Freeze would be too close to Two-Face, even if you ignore the more sci-fi elements inherent to their characters.

Both of the could work in the nolanverse, unfortunately not enough as a main villain, I see Freeze and Ivy playing out on a much smaller scale. If this were a tv show or a comic you could really make something interesting, but none of them could pose a realistic enough threat to the city.
