Spotlight Turns to Notebooks.
Tim Cook announces that Apple has sold 2.5m Macs in the last quarter, 3x the overall PC market growth.
Apple is now 17.6% US Marketshare, a growth from ~4% in 2000.
33% of all notebook sales are Apple.
(can someone explain why AAPL is taking such a hit tho)
They're now talking about the new manufacturing processes, with John Ives.
Now, about the new notebooks.
"They've dubbed it the NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M -- it's an amazing chip. Chipset and GPU on one die -- 70% is the GPU, 16 parallel graphic cores, 54gflops of graphics performance. It's a stunner."
