Is iTunes in the Europes the same as here, or will I not be able to buy TV shows until they air over there when I'm studying abroad next semester?

You can access iTunes US from abroad. I have access to both my US and Japanese accounts.

At the bottom of the main iTunes Store page, you'll see "My Store" and a drop down, just make sure yours says "United States".

Apple Recalls Faulty iPhone 3G Power Adapters

Seems the prongs are breaking off in the outlets.

Replcements won't be available until Oct. 10. Until then, you have to charge using your computer.

I rarely put mine down. I'm surprised I get the battery life I do. Mostly because I have it checking 4 email addresses every 15 minutes as well as one push (Exchange). I am definitely loving the 16 GB of space - I have well over 1000 songs, 2 full length movies and a bunch of TV shows on it and still plenty of room.

Spotlight Turns to Notebooks.

Tim Cook announces that Apple has sold 2.5m Macs in the last quarter, 3x the overall PC market growth.


Apple is now 17.6% US Marketshare, a growth from ~4% in 2000.
33% of all notebook sales are Apple.

(can someone explain why AAPL is taking such a hit tho)


They're now talking about the new manufacturing processes, with John Ives.

Now, about the new notebooks.

Looks like the Notebook line is going away from DVI and to DisplayPort.

By "the videos keep playing continously if I start at the top", what exactly do you mean?

Well, for example I have the Game Trailer's game reviews podcast. If I have more than 1, and I begin with the one on the top of the list, it will play all of them until it finishes the last one.

It won't play just one and go back to the list for you to choose another, it'll keep going playing them all.
