Bought a new router today.

And it works! I'm on my iPod right now.

This is taking me forever to type, but it's awesome.

(The iPod's spelling suggestions suck. It's like it's retarded or something.)

I've been trying to jailbreak my iPod to no avail. Does anyone have any advice?

I'm frustrated so I'm not going to bother trying it again tonight and I'm just going to put it back to regular working order but I'll probably try again tomorrow or on Sunday.

Honestly, it's not worth it, with the 2.0 firmware coming out. There aren't many great apps for the jailbreaks.

Moonie - what problems are you having? I assume you downloaded the software and are following the instructions...what is or isn't happening that shouldn't or should?
 
I didn't buy the iPod (yet!). Now I've been thinking whether 80GB or 160GB. I can afford either right now. I don't have a lot of songs (maybe little over 1,000 once I get some CD's in) and it's not like I get a new CD every few weeks or whatever.

Do movies/shows take up lots of space?

They can. 1 good quality movie is around 1 gig or so.

I see.

Well, like Proj. told me (something I had thought of, too), I could always rotate movies and stuff. What I'll be doing is like my brother where I'll have an external portable Hard Drive where I'll save all my stuff for the iPod, so as to not take up space on my laptop.

But for now, I only have 1 or 2 movies planned to put on, so it's good. I'll stick with the 80GB.

Can someone tell me how to put up a custom background on my Touch? Since I got it jailbroken, I've been trying to figure this out but to no avail.

I *believe* you'll need to install Summerboard (assuming you got Installer.app installed), but I didn't have much success with it.

Yeah, I've got summerboard and I've gotten some pre-made themes, but I want to know how to upload your own picture. (To the actual background, not the slider screen.)

EDIT: Figured it out. You just have to go into summerboard and turn "Theme Wallpaper" off. Then the wallpaper from the slider screen will show up as your background.

My iPod is set to arrive tomorrow; it shipped yesterday from Ohio and is coming via DHL. iPod right on graduation day. SWEEET!!

I have yet another iTunes sorting issue.

Is there any way to sort two separate albums but have them show up as having the same title. Because here's the problem:

It's not a big deal, if there's no way to fix it, but I hate having to put the year next to the album because I'm weird like that.

When it's the same artist like that, I'm not aware of a way to sort them differently that what you have.

I have those sorted as "Weezer (Blue Album)" and "Weezer (Green Album)". And in a few weeks there will be "Weezer (Red Album)".
