This is very good news.

Hopefully Marvel and others follow.

it wont be Marvels choice on this, it will be Disney. Disney is probably holding off until they can sync up all of there media onto one easily interchangeable platform.

I just won Amazing Spider-Man #39 on ebay! I'm so excited!

i know! so gorgeous!

The first time I read these stories was from the essential Spider-Man collections, then later I saw the issues with colour and realized how much I was missing out on!

What did you get them for, if you don't mind me asking? And what kind of condition are they in?

i got ASM 39 for $70 USD + shipping
and ASM 48 for $36 USD + shipping. They're both listed as being "VG" (Very Good) and the pictures look pretty good.

I've always wanted to own ASM #39. It's one of my favourite covers ever and it's a significant Spider-Man story (Green Goblin figures out Spidey's identity and reveals himself to be Norman Osborn)

48 was just relatively cheap so i bought it.

So did anyone else check out Taskmaster #1 this week? I really liked it, Fred Van Lente has an interesting take on Tasky with the whole memory palaces angle, and all of the old and new evil organizations are great.
