The All About Comics Thread 4: Gemini Loves Crappy Variant Covers

Evacuate Wonder Woman and all Greek characters from the DC Universe. Immeadietly!

Better get Herc and Ares out of the MU too just to be safe, hell just about anyone who considers themselves a god

Marv Wolfman is a surprise, I mean the guy who made Blade writing Kratos? cool

though I have no idea how his recent stuff is

Paul Cornell! :)

Scarlett Johannson! :?

Tom Raney!

Marvel are putting the wrong artists on these comics.

Cornell said this story presents the Widow as "the most experienced intelligence agent in the world," a forever-young super-spy (she doesn't age like normal people, not unlike old crony Wolverine) who has been honing her martial arts skills "for 50 years while at peak physical condition."

She doesn't age? What? When did that happen?

Who would win: Superman (New Earth) or Thor (616)?

Thor's powers would be classified as magical abilities and thus Superman would be at a disadvantage. Thor would block out the sun with storm clouds and hit Superman with Mjolnir a couple of times and Superman would go down. Superman is smarter and faster than Thor but there's nothing he could really do to defeat him.

Thor.

That's actually a pretty good reason. What about Superman vs. Hulk (or Red Hulk if you prefer)?

I think Superman would realise that fighting Hulk wouldn't work (Hulk just gets angrier and therefore stronger) and instead finds a way to calm him down. If that's not a good enough outcome, Superman throws Hulk into space.

Don't even mention the Red Hulk by name. You increase Jeph Loeb's power tenfold.

:D

Can't the Hulk survive in space now though?

So at the end of Legion of Three Worlds it turns out that
Superboy Prime is now an internet troll. I'm trying to decide if this is just Johns flipping the bird at the older DC readers.
