Nick Barrucci is excited that they're excited. Oh boy indeed.
I'm just glad that the guy who's job is hiring and promoting talent has faith in the talent that's involved in this unnamed project.

The mystery co-writer might be someone under exclusive contract with someone at the moment and cannot be named for legal reasons.
Point being?
What was your point to start with? That they're hyping a project in a way that you disagree with?
So what? Who cares?
that they're hyping a project before there's anything to hype

Has anyone read any of the Dark Reign minis coming out? Real quick blurb about my thoughts on them.
Elektra: Really awesome, gorgeous art, and most recently she has to fight Bulls/Hawkeye while drugged up.
Lethal Legion: Surprisingly good, kind of a slow start, the story is told in Tarantino style starting at the end about how this new version of the Legion came to be, and who betrayed them to Osborn. Looking forward to more.
Hawkeye: Fun in kind of a malicious way, it's about Bullseye [not] adjusting to being Hawkeye, he's fighting a bunch of people dressed as Bullseye that are trying to kill him, meanwhile Ben Urich closes in on his secret identity.
Zodiac: Not bad, Zodiac somewhat reminds me of The Joker from TDK, he wants to destroy Osborn because he is a sell out in terms of super-villainy.
The Sinister Spider-Man: It's okay, it's basically a day in the life of Mac Gargan, I did think the ending was clever though.
And this should be in the Dark Reign thread I created!
Forgot about the Hood one, it's really good. The Ms. Marvel one is fun too. Haven't read the Dark Wolverine yet.
I couldn't find it...!
I often find that the word "collectability" takes on a very bad stigma, and I think a lot of that has to do with how we went through this very, very bad period in the early to mid '90s where it was all about, "Hey, I'm going to keep this comic and put my kid through college with it someday," instead of an affection for the material and the medium. It was all about money and not the love of comics. Luckily for us, most of those speculators left long ago.
The first Dreamwave Gi Joe/transformers crossover. I had the first issue of that somewhere. It was cool. Dunno how the rest of the mini turned out.I have downloaded a mini-series crossover between the Transformers and G.I. Joe drawn by Pat Lee which takes place during World War II. I expect it to be the greatest thing ever.

Must get that!It was wicked just because Jae Lee drew badass WWII Transformers.
