My friends so regret buying a PS3 that they come over to my house to play my Coleco Vision. Mouse Trap is a big hit.

I missed it because my idiot brother changed the channel, but "The Feed" from Attack of the Show! on G4 mentioned something about pr0n on the PS3. I have no idea what it was gonna be about but the site might have a clip of it later.

What is Sony trying to do here?

The PS3 has been sort of a failure and dissapointment so far,mostly it has to do with the high price. $600.00 (US) and not everyone wants to spend that much.Added to that is the games,not much good ones..or games that would make people buy a PS3.I think many are waiting for the price to come down,before they buy.

And that is really the smart way to go with any new system. There will always be people like me who don't want to wait though.

As far as being a failure I'm not to sure where your getting that idea. It was just released in Europe and became the fastest selling console ever.

And I've played alot of fun games on mine.

But, how are those numbers keeping up? Are they stil flying off the shelves? Since January, I've been able to find stockpiles of PS3s in every store I go to. Hell, my local Gamestop is running a deal to trade in your PS2, get a hundred bucks off a PS3.

The Wii, on the other hand, is still difficult to find. I believe, ranking-wise, the Wii is selling the most, followed by the Xbox 360, followed by the Playstation 2, and brining up the rear is the Playstation 3.

It's not doing well at all. Still, I've resigned myself to getting one. Hideo Kojima announced the other day in an interview on Kotaku that he still intends to keep MGS4 exclusive to the PS3. That combined with FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, Lair, White Knight Story, God of War III, Kingdom Hearts 3 and possibly Silent Hill 5 give me a reason to get one by year's end.

might be the fact the porn industry backed blue ray.

the big selling point of ps3 = blue ray

over here in uk from what everywhere was selling Wii is sold out more and faster


I want a Wii decided today to go buy one every shop in town had sold out and had pre-orders for next 2 months!!!

ps3 every shop had one. I won't buy one unless it improves but still the point? Wii is out selling ps3

plus I think playstation 1 holds the record of most buys as here in uk they did a test and 99% of homes had at least one psone when they were first out.

Not sure about sales figures as of right now but saying it's a failure is a little extreme. Yes the Wii is outselling everything even with thte limited supply.

Wrong.

Sony won't allow pron on blu-ray so the industry is backing HDDVD.

I'm not going to look for the IGN.com article but as far as I know from what was reported PS3 was the fastest selling console. I'm not saying it has outsold any other console. I think it was first week sales only.

that's what I read on a site it was confirmed and contracts were signed read this months ago


it was going to be a huge boost for blue ray that sony welcomed.

Yeah maybe I was wrong.

Way back I heard sony wouldn't allow porn.

Then I heard the porn industry was backing HDDVD

then on my local news station I heard something about porn only being on HDDVD.

and I just found an article saying that both HDDVD and Bluray have porn.

????????

i figured it would be another betamax vs vhs again. It was close betamax was good but porn backed vhs and bam the rest is history

I wish I could get into a I'm better than you arguement but your're probly right. I have always sucked at fighting games. Back in the n64days I bought Killer Instict and practiced for days. I invited my friends over and got my *** handed to me each time. I'm still upset about it.

I suck at fighting games, I was just jocking :lol: :lol: :lol: but it's good to see that there are more people with PS3. :D
