3.5/5. Solid mid-arc issue.

The bad: When it is obvious that the source is the powers of all the mutant "energy" lost in House of M, there is no need to drag out the discovery as long as they have.

And more shockingly - Deodato. He seems...off. The art just isn't as good as it's been on Amazing Spider-Man lately. However this could be because of the coloring; it doesn't really look very good. This is a bummer because I was really looking forward to Deodato on this book.

The good: This Michael guy. I was assuming that the powers just took sentenance (sp?) - I like it much better that they are powering an actual person.

Sentry - one of my favorite characters. Not only was it good to see him in action, but it was good to see him knocked out like he was. Because everyone was saying that Sentry would be the only way they could take this guy out...well, time for plan B. Daisy Johnson?

I also like Spider-Man's role - the smart guy behind the scenes. It doesn't seem like it should work, but it does.

I think it was obvious who it was once it showed the big red glowing light in space. If you read HoM, you knew off the bat what it was because that was the last tile in issue 8. The whole postal worker thing isn't working for me. And you had to know it wasn't Korvac, cuz this fool had a speech impediment. You think if Korvac had been gone for so long, he'd a been able to recooperate. I haven't read the latest issue yet, but the only good thing sounds like Sentry. And it still doesn't make sense how Danvers just bumrushes the villain. This villain in general doesn't make any sense. Once we find out this guys' purpose, it better be damn good. I got a lot of q's about this one.

I like the whole postal worker thing I was expecting some relevant character or at least someone already established, making it some average guy wrong place wrong time just seems right

I bet after this, Ms. Marvel will end up joining NA as well as Daisy Johnson. I bet Bendis used Secret War as a setup for his new character. You already got the conflict between her and Logan. I'm also pretty confident that most mutants will get their powers back. Not all though.

Anyone else catch E as post number 666? I'm scared now...

Ms. Marvel's already on New Avengers. She's had more fight/panel time than Sentry and Ronin combined.

Well technically yes. But there hasn't been a "Welcome to the team even though you crapped the last mission" kinda thing. And they offered her a place when they announced(what was that, 13,14?) the new team and she declined.

Who benefits from your lack of memory? Who knows the secret history of E? What are your teammates not telling you?

I find it oddly fitting that it's about Xorn too.


Th enew issue was much better than the last. The Sentry finally doing some fighting was great.

I could care less about Daisy or Ms.Marvel

I really liked the Young Avengers cameo and the Vision joining. That and the list of mutants. That was a nice touch.

What the heck. I've read two reviews of this issue now that said that Angelina Jolie was in the issue. Did I miss something?

All right, all right. Yeah, she looks like Angelina Jolie. And no, there's no chance in hell there's gonna be a spin-off movie of Daisy Johnson soon. Relax. She's not the first comic character to be drawn like a celebrity.

No way in hell would it happen, maybe animated but not live action. Would cost more than any movie before
