You're the only one making a conflict out of this. Everyone else seems to agree that the people behind the movies know where they want their events to take place. I'm done with this conversation, clearly it's not going anywhere.

Yes! How do you honestly not see this? One piece is old and up to interpretation, the other is recent and very specific still working with the previous piece of evidence. How do you honestly not get how all this combined makes you completely wrong. You can keep screaming that 2+2=5 as much as you like but the pieces we've have for this scene don't add up the way you want them put together.

I'm not saying anything illogical though. I'm using logic to see that the weather in NYC for that scene is early Fall, not late Fall/Early Winter. So a passage of time is possible and the book likely was an over-sight. That's what I'm saying and I'm sticking to it. We are both appealing to official sources. I just personally feel on-screen sources are more solid than books written about on-screen sources.

The conflict was you, repeatedly making the same point, over and over with new new argument despite being told you're reasoning is illogical and wrong and this timeline isn't going to change. That was the conflict. The first person to get upset was you. You made your point, 8 hours ago, people disagreed and instead of leaving it at that you continued to repeat yourself over and over. That was the conflict
