Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

btw i just watched Daredevil 2x01, I heard that the 2nd season was the worst one of the 3...

Idk i found the Episode amazing, tho i can see if the season could go downhill, as we have Fisk, Punisher and Elektra involved, 3 very distinct elements. Tho I'm curious!

Lol yes, so happy

Litterally if anyone wants to take over editing this timeline, that comment wasn't empty, it's yours.

Here's to 200 more!
for me almost no one on this earth could take on this (me included in this group of people), cos to be able to do great edits, you should have watched and read everything. Like myself i still need to watch some series and movies and read some of the comics.

I can help with giving you placements to add to it, but it's honestly up to you.
The more help the merrier but I'm not going to just stop or just hand it off to someone else. I mean clearly my life has gotten busier since I took this timeline on, I have less time to edit at work and less time on the weekends so it's become less of a priority to me to edit asap. I'll glad take all the help you wish to offer but I'm not just gonna quit, I know this timeline is important to many people.

If Civil War happened a lot sooner in the YFNS timeline, I'm wondering if this is still 2015. November 2015?
i didn't watched the series yet, but if i can give an advice, for keeping it simple, i would just copy the civil war timeline until an hard date arrives, they're planning 3 seasons, for sure one must come at one point.

They're still in school in June if that were the case. I don't think they gave the impression it's the last week of school.

On this I did bring this up a few days ago but I don't believe anyone really replied to it. Is YFNSM something we want to add to this timeline due to the fact that the nature of the show changed from being part of it to be an adjacent universe. Disney+ doesn't place it on the timeline with the other Multiverse projects like Loki, What If and D&W despite being part of the Multiverse Saga akin to X-Men '97. Personally my opinion is fairly neutral on its inclusion, like I'm going to watch the show when I do the MCU but if it's not included in the MCU timeline I don't feel like that'd be out of place.

as someone who shares this take
the hand plot is definitely its weakest link, the punisher and fisk storyline of season 2 is sublime

I must have missed that. Fair point, since yeah it's more standalone than even What If.

and don't forget the prequel comic!

That said, it's not as "inspired-by" copycat as the Marvel cartoons from 2012-2020.

YFNS is clearly more of an alternate MCU timeline, just with some history changes.

I brought it up like mid discussion about X-Men '97 so it was easy to miss. But that's my thought on it
I'll wait until the season ends. The difference between YFNS and X-Men 97 is that the the latter continues off from a pre-MCU universe that IMO is not in the same multiversal 'cluster'.

my advice, i see you have a text under the viewing order text, since it's in some strange way, tied with the MCU, for now do a timeline down there on the 1st text you can edit, and then just wait to see how things turns out. If they connect it move it on the main timeline, if they leave it behind, then you can make another thread or leave it on that text.

Yeah that's why I could go either way. I just wanted to open it up to the general consensus of the group and see where people stand.
