Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

The same people made the film right? So are they contradicting themselves?
Not when they didn't confirm that part of the movie wasn't Fall 2024 in the first place. The scene was shot in LA where you're not going to find late Fall weather and they didn't go through the trouble of making an LA backlot look more like the season. That doesn't mean they wanted that to be proof the movie was later in the timeline.

Yes, in my opinion, the person editing the timeline, you and your opinions are not above a recent official source

Did you not get the first sentence about what a retcon is? It's when something that is canon it's retroactively changed.
I see what you did there lol. That source could be wrong!

Doesn't mean it isn't later in the timeline either. Other than the weather and Doc's demeanor, we have nothing else to go by other than a book that could be wrong.

And so could basing it off a couple of trees, but for now I see the book created with the help of those behind the movies as being the source that is most accurate.

The onscreen evidence came out before the official timeline book. The official timeline book is just as official as any of the movies. You do the math.
Recency bias. The book could still be wrong, just because it came out later doesn't make it more correct.

And overall I'd agree. But they may have gotten this one detail wrong because the on-screen evidence contradicts it.

And the conflict is solved by one piece of evidence being up to interpretation and older and the other being recent and specific
No it isn't lol The conflict will exist until the next time we see Strange and more on-screen evidence clears it up for us.
