Not when they didn't confirm that part of the movie wasn't Fall 2024 in the first place. The scene was shot in LA where you're not going to find late Fall weather and they didn't go through the trouble of making an LA backlot look more like the season. That doesn't mean they wanted that to be proof the movie was later in the timeline. The same people made the film right? So are they contradicting themselves?
I see what you did there lol. That source could be wrong!Yes, in my opinion, the person editing the timeline, you and your opinions are not above a recent official source
Did you not get the first sentence about what a retcon is? It's when something that is canon it's retroactively changed.
But we have no reason to think said source is wrong.I see what you did there lol. That source could be wrong!
Doesn't mean it isn't later in the timeline either. Other than the weather and Doc's demeanor, we have nothing else to go by other than a book that could be wrong. Not when they didn't confirm that part of the movie wasn't Fall 2024 in the first place. I have given you reason to doubt it, but you ignore it. On-screen evidence. I'll keep saying it until you understand what it means. But we have no reason to think said source is wrong.
I'm talking about Doctor Strange 2. Not the other movies. So this is a moot point.Gee wilkers, you're correct mista, it sure is a good thing marvel has never retconned anything before.
The onscreen evidence came out before the official timeline book. The official timeline book is just as official as any of the movies. You do the math.I have given you reason to doubt it, but you ignore it. On-screen evidence. I'll keep saying it until you understand what it means.
Yes it could be. "Could" be. I said that at the start. It could be wrong later. Today it is not.I see what you did there lol. That source could be wrong!
And so could basing it off a couple of trees, but for now I see the book created with the help of those behind the movies as being the source that is most accurate.Doesn't mean it isn't later in the timeline either. Recency bias. The book could still be wrong, just because it came out later doesn't make it more correct. The onscreen evidence came out before the official timeline book. The official timeline book is just as official as any of the movies. You do the math.
But you don't know that. There is conflicting evidence which I've pointed out.Yes it could be. "Could" be. I said that at the start. It could be wrong later. Today it is not.
It so, quite litterally, as an official source retconning another does make it more correctRecency bias. The book could still be wrong, just because it came out later doesn't make it more correct.
But it LITERALLY doesjust because it came out later doesn't make it more correct.
And the conflict is solved by one piece of evidence being up to interpretation and older and the other being recent and specificBut you don't know that. There is conflicting evidence which I've pointed out.
And overall I'd agree. But they may have gotten this one detail wrong because the on-screen evidence contradicts it.And so could basing it off a couple of trees, but for now I see the book created with the help of those behind the movies as being the source that is most accurate.
This is just your opinion though. It so, quite litterally, as an official source retconning another does make it more correct
Why?But it LITERALLY does
Except it's not an opinion thingThis is just your opinion though.
No it isn't lol The conflict will exist until the next time we see Strange and more on-screen evidence clears it up for us.And the conflict is solved by one piece of evidence being up to interpretation and older and the other being recent and specific
