Lost *spoilers*

The Pub I'm associate with down here is called "The Irish Pub" they have two locations in Phila and one in A.C. The head bartender at the one I go to is a good friend of mine and a huge LOST fan. I have lengthy discussions with him about the show. But I came up with an idea for a St. Paddy's day shirt for the bar and it's gonna be the Dharma logo with a Shamrock in the middle and possibly "The Shamrock" station underneath. I think it might be cool so if anyone here wants one when they come out, let me know.

I don't know how I feel about the show's premiere. The whole introduction of the templetons makes me feel like everything and every other group on the island has been severely cheapened. And from the get go the introduce new characters and a different timeline? Looks like the season/series may end with more questions than answers to me.

Need someone to design it?

I'm of the belief that Sayid was "healed" in the sense that Ben was last season as a child. My roommates have pretty much gone all in on the "Sayid is now Jacob" theory, but I am betting against that being true simply because I don't want it to be. I believe having an imposter Locke is interesting, especially because we're getting to see how he actually affected his fellow castaways... But having Sayid be a puppet for Jacob's character is senseless and I would not be in favor of it.

The hour glass has me wondering for some reason... Does the spring act as a "fountain of youth" where they can revive the body from the injured state to the healthy state? Think about it. Sayid could be his healthy-self as in before he got physically shot at the expense of the memories he had post-getting shot. Does that make sense?

That's interesting, his body reverts back to a certain point before he was shot including his brain

Exactly. Think about it -- Ben was a kid when his memory was erased, hence the reason why Rich mentioned his "innocence" being gone. His innocent memories from when he was a kid would be replaced with what came after -- hardship due to the fact that he constantly had to give to the island in order to maintain his leadership.

Sayid was tortured, drowned, and lived because this was what was supposed to happen.

In addition, I would just like to say how enjoyable I find Locke's character. Now that he's the Smoke Monster, the Monster speaks in retrospect of John's life. I LOVED that conversation between SM and Ben... About how pathetic John's life was. Man, that was great.

Smae here, though it made me feel really sad. Part of that is with the fact that John wasn't ressurected, he never got the ending he deserves. I hope they should his spirit at some point just so we can get a little more closure with him.

haha, i thought the hour glass was just for timing how long they had to hold him under water for the pool to heal him.

Maybe we'll get a little bit of that in the "alternate timeline"

I think we'll get closure for John in the alternate timeline. Keep that scene he had with Jack in mind, too. John is offered spinal surgery from Jack... That part gave me goosebumps. It never occured to me that Jack could fix Locke if circumstances were different. I'd like to see Jack give the surgery to him... That'll be a tearjerker I know that.

I think every question raised by this show can be answered by the fact that Alan Moore was on the plane.
