Justice League: To the silver screen!

That all sounds like a load of hooey balooey... But i'm honestly worried they'll do it, and only do a mediocre job on it all.

Mel Gibson would be a great Max Lord, though.

Talia and Lex shouldn't be in the movie at all. Period.

CBR:

JUSTICE LEAGUE

"IESB is bursting at the seams with two fresh sets of rumors about the big team up picture, including a possible set of antagonists from Mark Waid's run, what "bwa-ha-ha" era character could show up and even an alleged plot summary. But these are all unsubstantiated rumors, so don't get all worked up about them."

It could still be. It doesn't have to be live action for to be that. Before judging, it'd be better to wait and see how the CGI will look like.

No, no. It has to be live-action. Otherwise, it's a cartoon. Doesn't matter how life-like a fully CGI film is. Real people are real people and it just doesn't get any better than that.

I would want Welling , I would prefer Dean Cain to Routh.

...

Dean Cain is easily my second favourite version of Superman behind Christopher Reeve. If you don't think he can act, watch the pilot episode and watch the scene where he and Lois have just visited the lab of a scientist who's just been electrocuted. Now tell me that Welling's better than Cain.

Now, watch the scene in SR where Routhman brings Lois flying and tells her how he's sorry that he left her. Now tell me that Welling's better than Routh.

Now, watch the episode where Clark has a fight with Lana because he can't reveal his secret to her and accidentally gets exposed to some plot device that causes his personality to be altered drastically, leading to sexy results. Then, watch the episode where Clark's character grows and changes from the exact same character he was in the first episode...oh...hang on...darn.

Now tell me that Welling's better than Routh and Cain.

I wouldn't mind either a) the guy who did the voice on BTAS

Have you seen Kevin Conroy in real life? Are you kidding me?

or b) Adam west (just for that classic feel)

Not even funny. In any comedic logic.

I'm definitely not thinking of a "dark, deadly serious" story. I'm thinking of a fun PG-13 movie that could appeal to a wide audience. Kind of like Transformers (Though this should be bigger and more epic than Transformers.)

WONDER WOMAN: Were you...were you masturbating?

MARTIAN MANHUNTER: What? No! I don't mastur-bate! Maaan!

GREEN LANTERN: Diana...please...stop. This is something guys talk about.

MARTIAN MANHUNTER: Guys! Geez, Diana!

Gothamite, I salute you!

He's talking about voices, not live action

Also they could totally pull of live action film, just make it like this

If Warner Bros. made a CGI Justice League movie with Adam West playing Batman as a happy, friendly neighborhood superhero I would pretty much call it a day as far as comic book movies are concerned.

Because the character should only be limited to one interpretation for the rest of ever.

No, because the character was limited to one interpretation in other media from his initial appearances on the Superman radio show in the late forties, right up to his later Super Friends episodes in the mid-eighties (which coincidentally made use of Adam West's voice). 'Serious, Dark' Batman has only come into prominence in other media in the last nineteen years and even then we've had major dips back into mediocrity (see the year 1997).

And he's already boring.

Fair enough. Personally, I can't see any point to the friendly, happy interpretation of the character and there really doesn't seem to be any logic to him at all. What drives a nice happy man to become a happy crimefighter in a healthy, clean city?

I'll make it simple:

Real people > CGI

Always and always.

That doesn't mean it can't be as good in CGI. You look at Beowulf and say a JLA like that wouldn't be as good as if it was actually live action. It's almost the same because there isn't much difference in looks that people won't even notice.

And I never said that CGI is better than actually having real actors.

My rebuttal:
Incredibles. Fantatsic Four.

I win. Somebody call Planet Man and....I don't know....say EVERYONE to
confirm.

The fact that I'm the only person on planet Earth who didn't like The Incredibles won't make a fraction of a difference. Oh, and if you're calling Parker, you might ask him to throw in his argument as to why Dark Batman is light years ahead of Light Happy Friendly Batman.

I have little doubt that a CGI JLA film could be awesome. It could have action and special effects that a live-action film could never have, for a far smaller budget.

But it just won't be real, for me. Seeing living, breathing super-characters that look like people in everyday life (albeit a heightened, more romantic version of 'everyday life') in these films is a good 40% of the fun for me.

A live action Justice League would be terrible. I have no idea how to explain this but it just would be.

I think CGI is the only way to go.
