Doctor Who

I've not seen the first three series, and I think the only thing you need to know is how and why Jack is immortal. Beyond that, I picked it up easily.

Also, apparently, TORCHWOOD is kinda crap. I've never heard anything good about it. But MIRACLE DAY has an intriguing premise, and it's gotten good reviews.

Speaking of the premise, they totally ripped me off. :p

Yeah, I kind of figured that. I know how and why Jack is immortal through Doctor Who. I just want to view them all in order.

I've heard this as well. Still, I want to check all the series out.

Season one was crap until the faerie episode, which was brillant.

Season two was full of hits and full of misses. Then half the team leaves at the end of it.

Season three was fantastic except for the multitude of ways Jack died. And it's only five episodes. And more of the team leaves.

So far Season four has been good, though I haven't a clue on why Bill Pullman's character is there yet.

I think we'll find out next episode since the previews shot a shot where Jack and Pullman are in the same scene.

Stars Matt Smith and Karen Gillan made their American-convention debut at Comic-Con International, where they unveiled the trailer for the second half of the season, and offered Doctor Who fans some hints of what they can expect from the Time Lord.

I have a Torchwood Season four theory. This theory contains major spoilers to Torchwood season 1 & 2, so if you haven't seen those, don't highlight the spoiler text below

So, we all know Russell Davies likes to throw little tiny clues and then tie it all in the final episode, like he did with Doctor Who. In the first episode, Jack flashes his FBI badge and calls himself Owen Harper. People see this as a cute easter egg, I know I did. A little nod to the earlier seasons. But what if this is Davies little tiny clue? We all know Owen Harper couldn't die, but he also couldn't heal himself either. He was stuck, not dying and not living. What if this whole morphic field business they keep alluding too could be tied into this Company using Owen Harper's unique properties to make everyone else become like that. I don't know, its just a theory I had.

It's time.

*explodes with anticipation*

I am, but I'm watching it on BBC iPlayer so it gets the ratings, but for some idiotic reason it's at least a week behind the US. So I'm waiting for it to catch up. :/
